This last time I had the pleasure of working with Royce Ramos a great salesperson. Royce is perhaps the most knowledgeable salesperson I've met. He knows cars inside and out and made sure to understand my needs as busy, working mom with two boys who play a lot of sports. My car is my second home, so it's important that I can be comfortable feel safe and have it easy to clean since there is a lot of eating done one the road. These requirements lead Royce to recommend that I not get the highest end model of the Highlander I was looking at but instead the mid level model. I saved $3000 or so by going with that model and I have the perfect car for me. With the mid-tier model I got regular leather(not the perforated sport leather that crumbs can live in) I also got the regular key- which makes me feel better since I lost my last "Smart Key". We'll be going back to Rockland the next time we want to get a new family car. I'll also say that the service department is wonderful- always very professional and timely. More
Clueless in sales world Went to this dealership today to get info about a toyota. The woman at reception was great and called a salesman. "Francisco" arrived and seemed dazed Went to this dealership today to get info about a toyota. The woman at reception was great and called a salesman. "Francisco" arrived and seemed dazed to say the least. We stood at the entry reception area for what seemed forever as I asked him about Toyota's current deals on leases for hybrids. He answered, "yes, we have deals, they are good." What? What does "good" really mean? He offered no details and no invitation to sit down and learn the details. He did express interest in where I was living and kept asking me questions about that location (like that mattered). My wife had gone to the restroom as we waited (for what I don't know) and Francisco simply stopped talking and was leaning against the reception counter. Another customer came in the door during this silence and asked a question. The reception woman greeted that customer and said let me get a salesperson to help you. At that point, the long silent Francisco starts to answer the other customers questions and continues to ignore me. Are you kidding me? When my wife returned from the restroom Francisco was in deep answer mode with the stranger at the door so we simply walked out. It was clear that Francisco was clueless to all of the mistakes he made in the sales process and was oblivious to the fact that his customer was gone. This dealership needs a lot of work and hire salespeople who don't insult customers by being so unaware of the need to make people feel connected. More
