Satisfaction I entered this dealership with my mind made up about which vehicle I was going to purchase and what I was willing to pay. And its near to my work and I will also continue to service my ca Lets start this review by saying I always have gone to this dealership with my cars. And its near to my work and I will also continue to service my cars there. I will say the service is okay. the shuttle service is great and the driver is awesome. Last day I had my regular service and had my brake job done.. Things were prompt, but the wheels were greasy,had another issue and they opened up the dash and the cigarette lighter cover kinda broke(they didn't even do a good job putting it back after I came back the next day to have it fixed. Its a small thing and idc :- they just need to improve on things like this). Anyways however that is not the whole point of this review. My girlfriend wanted a car and after shopping for some used cars, I thought its best to go for a certified used or a brand new Elantra (2016s are be cheaper now) . I love open communication and I know salesmen are trained to talk too much and butter you up, but I told the guy in the beginning, just to work on the numbers and you will get the business, I hate wasting my time. I have a price range in my mind and I hate playing games. you show me your best and i will work with you. I was very open. They didn't have a 2016 with a popular package so they showed us a certified 2016 for some price. I couldn't accept it as it was too much for a used and I gave them a price and told them we will take it for that price he said he will "work with us" meaning he will just talk and talk and make you feel that its the best deal. So I called up the Lia Hyundai of Enfield , asked if they have any NEW 2016s left with the popular package and I told this too :- that I want it for this certain price. I told them to call me back after working the figures and if you can come to my price, we will come now. or.. have a great day. they called me back.. and tried playing games by telling me to come in.. I told them clearly to come to my price and I will sign today or have a great day. Within 5 minutes they called me and say they can do it. And, I told my girlfriend and her family to leave Lia Hyundai of Hartford cuz we could get a brand new for the same price of the hartford's used 2016. I understand people being pissed for losing a deal. Well too bad I didn't wanna play games and you couldn't work the numbers . Me and my girlfriend left in my car and her parents were on another car. The guy who talked to us went and talked to her Dad and told him to come back without me and they will give a better deal.. like What??? seriously ? And he said I disrespected their salesman. No dude. I told him clearly I don't have time to talk and just work on the figures and get me a good deal. Is that how you talk about the customers? The only reason why they came was cuz of me. Cuz I thought you guys would give a deal. Too bad you couldn't. Its our money. We decide what to spend it on and what to buy. Of course if we get a brand new for the same price of a Used, We will go for it. I don't have any commitment to you. We all work hard for our money and we go where we get a better deal. I hate running around for deals. If you are genuine and want to have the business, give me the best price. I will take it. Saves a lot of time and for me.. Time=Money. I know some people love bargaining and talking too much. But with people like me, give me the best and I will take it. Anyways we got the Car from Lia Hyundai Of Enfield, and trust me.. The people there are not aggressive , but calm . I love that kind of an Environment instead of being pushed. Anyways to sum it up, I genuinely felt offended by the way he talked to my girl friend's Dad and what was he thinking? That he wont tell me? The funny thing is that all of us were there and they were like.. " Did you talk to this guy without us"? "How did you disrespect him?" "We didn't feel so".. The salesman was actually aggressive to us and not the other way. Anyways, hope these guys aren't like that to all and hope my ethnicity was not the reason for the guys to talk like that about me. More
