I have always purchased a new car and this was my first experience trading an older car for a "new" old car. I traded my Honda 2003 Element for a 2008 Honda Fit. Al Pistoia and Paul Arena were great in helping me reach the right and best decision for buying my 2008 Fit. They were informative, patient with all my questions, anxieties, etc. I was amazed when I returned to pick up my little Fit to see that it looked like a new car! It was not in bad shape to begin with, but it did have its share of dings and paint chips, scratches, etc. It was wonderfully touched up with no dents and beautifully detailed. From my first contact on the phone with Nancy Clark, I knew this dealership was different. I informed him of the unigue situation I was in regarding my desire to acquire a new Pilot Touring and he displayed great patience and accomodation in working with me to get what I wanted at a price that I almost feel guilty about...almost! He went off to speak to the typically elusive Sales 'Manager', yet returned with Wyatt Savage who was warm, friendly and equally accomodating to help us. They both showed us that they were there to form an honest relationship that would continue for years to come. They also gave me a great price on my trade-in. When it came time for us to pick up our new gorgeous Pilot, Ron Morehead Jr. was also precise in his explanations of the contracts we were signing and made us feel confident in our decision to go to Honda of Kingston. This was my very first "car shopping" experience and it ABSOLUTELY could not have gone any better! From the moment I stepped onto the Lot, I was greeted with handshakes and smiles. Chris Donald and Manny Aviles welcomed me in, made sure I was comfortable and treated me with the utmost respect and professionalism. I told Manny exactly what I was looking for and he presented me with different options that might suit my fancy. After test driving other models, he presented me with the car I would end up purchasing. After test driving it, I knew it was the one for me! Chris and Manny then presented me with my price options and the rest was history. Not only did I get a really great price offer, but I also was able to take the car right off the lot that day and all the paperwork was taken care of within an hour! Ron was extremely diligent and went over every aspect of the lease and all the required paperwork and his professionalism and approach is why I am recommending this dealership. You can go to other dealerships and they try to sell you what "they" think will be best for you, but the folks at Honda of Kingston did exactly the opposite. Dan was my sales consultant - he was very friendly, accommodating, and helpful in every step of the process. He asked me what my wants and needs are for a new vehicle, and then he showed me my options accommodating, and helpful in every step of the process. I was impressed that inventory from another location (Newburgh) was available to me, as well as what was on the lot. He explained the current promotions (which happened to be an extremely great financing rate) and gave me numbers without any hidden fees. I asked about adding the remote car starter, and he explained my options thoroughly, which I was happy to receive as this has always been on my "wish list". The cost was worked into the financing and I extremely happy about that. Dan was also very helpful during the insurance call and ensured that it was quick and painless. Dan also gave me an orientation to my new vehicle, which I was very impressed by and happy to have been shown all the new and cool features of my new Honda. Although I only met Wyatt very briefly, as we were introduced because he was to give the estimate for my trade-in value, he was very friendly. I was happy with the trade-in value for my old car. Paul helped me with the financing process, which again, was another smooth and painless process. He was very congenial. The approval from Honda Financing was very fast and I was quickly relieved of my mild anxiety. Paul also gave me my options for additional maintenance packages available to me that could be worked into the financing as well. I was happy to learn that I was able to customize which packages I wanted, and that the packages presented were more like suggestions. I chose two maintenance packages that worked best for me. Last, but not least, is Erik, who works in the service department. He is my main GO-TO guy whenever I needed services with my old Honda. Erik helped me when I was cleaning out the old car by providing me with a box to put my stuff in, and even helped me move stuff from the old car to the new car. Erik just went above and beyond. I've been coming to Honda of Kingston since 2008, when I got my old Honda; and Erik has always been super friendly and super accommodating. I trust him completely with the maintenance choices for my car, and I am completely thankful he is there at Honda of Kingston. Overall, a very satisfying car buying experience. This was, by far, the best car buying experience I've ever had. Everybody was just friendly and helpful and provided accurate information.
