Understaffed and NOT Customer Friendly. I use this service dealership because I live in town but they are severely unstaffed here and not very customer oriented. I just spent two days trying to get through to service department but the lines were so busy that the switchboard person told me the best thing would be to leave a message. I did, TWICE , yet did not receive a call back either day. And my experience when I go to drop off or pick up my car has also not been the best. Many times I will stand at a desk and not even be acknowledged with a "Hello, someone will get to you as soon as we can" And I will stand there and watch the service employees talk with each other , talk on the phone ( sometimes calls are very obviously personal YET not seeming of an urgent matter) . Out of the dozen or more times I have taken my car there it is a rare exception to be waited on in under 10 mins EVEN when I am the only customer there. I also had a car charger that disappeared from my car once and someone lost my lug nut changer yet they did not acknowledge that they lost it, they tried to tell me I never brought it in... which was nonsense as they used it that visit to change my snow tires. I think they do average work for a high price but it is the LACK of customer service that makes me not want to return . More

Michael Allende helped me on this visit, and he was courteous and informative. I continua to purchase Hondas at this dealership largely because of my experience with their service department, which has been unfailingly reliable, prompt, and attentive. More
Never again. Well first they lied to me that I was not approved on my loan, I was told "I was not approved because of my negative equity or something like that", o Well first they lied to me that I was not approved on my loan, I was told "I was not approved because of my negative equity or something like that", only to find out I was approved but it didn't work out in their favor, meaning they would not make enough money off of me to bother. I was told my payment would be ($$$) and they "would do all they could to get me in". So I went to Curry Honda about the same 2015 Civic LX and guess what? I was approved on the next model up, an SE with a $45 less per month payment and extra warranties(tire and wheel warranty, service prepaid for 5 years, premium warranty covering brakes, battery, struts, bulbs, I can go on and on) all included. Did I mention it's an SE model, not the plain LX I was told was the "Best case scenario if I am approved"? I won't ever suggest Lia to anyone I know. Not to mention when I went back to get my deposit, the finance manager Chris, who was my buddy 2 days before looked over at us and totally snubbed us. I am so glad they lied to me, because I got a better deal at Curry Honda. It was foolish even going to Lia to begin with. I will however say that Casey the salesman was professional and courteous. He should work for a real dealership that cares about people and doesn't lie..... Those 4 and 3 stars are for Casey. More
Awful employees! Walked into showroom and waited over a minute before anyone approached us, then when she did didn't even introduce herself or shake our hands. We told her we were there to look at Pilots and she asked new or used. We said yes. So she said "I'll get someone." We were a little taken aback and waited for someone else to come help us. After a few minutes, Ray came over and said in the same cold way "Can I help You?" Again, without introducing himself or shaking our hands. We stated what we had told the woman and he said we don't have any, rather rudely. At this point my blood pressure started rising and I was ready to leave. I said well your web site showed that you had one new this morning and one used. He said we sold the new one today and the used is in Albany. We proceeded to his desk and he looked online. He said there were 2 used at the Lia Toyota dealer across the street and he could bring them over or we could just drive over. Whatever was his attitude. He was just rude and arrogant the entire 10 minutes we talked. We have never been treated that way. I can't believe that's how they treat people they want to buy a car from them. We told him we would just go across the street and look at them there. We couldn't wait to leave and never go back. More

Did not hand over a brochure. Did not show us any features about the car. Did not bother to accompany us for the test drive. Felt clueless about the Car we wanted after the entire experience. More
Positive purchasing experience I recently bought a gently used civic with the help of Eric Anderson at Northampton Lia Honda. Eric was not pushy and he is friendly.
