We have been looking for a pre-owned H I am sorry to share that me and my wife didn’t have a pleasant experience at Lia Honda location at Enfield, CT. We have been looking for a pre-owned Honda CR-V 2018 and have visited several local dealerships. We saw a pre-owned Honda CR-V at Lia Honda at Enfield and called to make sure it was available. We drove for almost an hour to this location and we met a salesperson named Mr. Troy. Mr. Troy has a flat affect and doesn’t seem too motivated. However, we took a test drive and liked the car. When we sat down and asked to negotiate the price, Mr. Troy told us that the listed price is firm and made sarcastic comments for even asking for a better price. As I explained that we were hoping to get it at a better price possibly a thousand lesser than it is listed, he seemed upset and said, “Ok, we are done here”. He then pretended to do some other stuff and completely ignored us. Me and my wife felt that it was very disrespectful of him. He could have disagreed politely. It was quite an unusual experience as every dealership we had visited so far have some wiggle room for price nogotiation. We left disappointed and in some ways insulted. Later in the afternoon, he sent us a text, offering the vehicle for $1000 less, the price that we were willing to pay. However, because of his attitude and way he treated us, we didn’t want to deal with him anymore. I hope Mr. Troy will treat others with more respect. More
