Excellent car buying experience. I went to several dealerships originally looking to buy a used car but decided to take a look at the new jeep cherokee at Lia. I spoke to Suzanne on the phone and scheduled a test drive, she was very helpful and had the keys waiting for me. When I got there she took me out to the lot and explained that she worked with the dealerships Internet department and that I would be working with Vincent Notaro. Vincent met me and got me all set up to take a 2015 v6 awd Jeep Cherokee Altitude for a spin. I was instantly hooked. The blacked out badges and rims, the power and handling, I knew I wanted this car. I traded in my one year old car that I really loved but the family had outgrown. Vinny worked with me and got me around $2000 more for my car than trade in value. On top of that I got around $2500 factory and dealer incentives off the price of the cherokee. Vinny as well as the finance manager worked to get my payment where I wanted it and actually extended the warranty throughout the length of my finance terms. After going to a seperate dealer and being thoroughly disappointed, this was the exact opposite. Vinny and the staff at Lia are awesome and worth the trip. Thanks again Vinny, I've had my new car almost a week and I love it! More
Sales Manager Very Rude I believe most staff are nice but my experience was horrible. I was looking for a grand cherokee SRT Red Vapor, which is a 70k+ car. Before I visited I believe most staff are nice but my experience was horrible. I was looking for a grand cherokee SRT Red Vapor, which is a 70k+ car. Before I visited the dealership, everything went smoothly and they responded to my emails in a timely manner. After I went there, Gerry was the salesman and he offered me a seat - so far so good. I told him that I wanted a SRT Red Vapor and he printed out the window sticker. However, I expected that he would introduce or explain the sticker/the car to me, but he remained silent. So, I asked him if he could tell me what he thought about the car - he didn't tell me anything useful but emphasized heavily on how rare the car is and how hard it is for him to get one. (One of the ways to increase sales price). It is tolerable so far. When we were negotiating the price, things went even worse. I knew people pay around 71500 for the same car with same config. What they gave me is 73950. I asked for 72000 and Gerry called the manager and he looked at me and said that no dealers would give me that price. I said "There are plenty of SRT/SRT Red Vapor in Kingston/Poughkeepsie and they offered a way better price." The manager said, "Why don't you buy there" in a VERY CONDESCENDING WAY. I was speechless. I chose these guys because I live closer to them. I explained this to the manager and what I got was just OK after OK... To be honest, I am not expecting a big discount or anything. I pay 70k+ for a jeep, and what I am looking for is good service and a good buying experience. My impression is that they are not knowledgeable about the car and they are rude. Their rudeness really makes me worried about the services that I might get if I purchase the car. I am a CUSTOMER, but the manager feels like my boss. Ridiculous. More
No Customer Respect. Told me what the invoice amount was and that it represented a significant discount that he could not go below. However, the vehicle was advertised on their website for $2,000 less than that. What a liar! Impossible to deal with. More

bad customer service Bought a buick encore off of this dealership they had no customer service, they treated you like a number, tried the car out and I liked it ,haggled w Bought a buick encore off of this dealership they had no customer service, they treated you like a number, tried the car out and I liked it ,haggled with the price that was good didn't want to give me anything for my car, I had a 2004 Toyota 4 runner with very low miles in great shape, sold it to another dealer, Went to pick up the car and it was missing the left front tire .they said to come back because the popped the tire ,I explained that I live 2 hours one way and could not come back, they put a tire on and said it was ok .Well it wasn't, it wasn't the same brand tire or the same tread ,with all wheel drive you MUST have the same tire and tread they told me no it was ok ,the following day I took it to my local tire warehouse and they said that I did need to have the same tire and tread ,called them and argued for 2 days they wanted me to bring the car back so they could change the tire explained it was too far ,after 2 more days they agreed to pay for a new tire, went to register it in the state of Mass, they gave me the wrong paperwork another 3 days to get that. then 2 weeks after I bought the car the oil light came on got the same story that I would have to bring it in said no thanks brought to my Buick dealer in town the car was never service let alone the oil was never changed, worst dealership that I have ever dealt with and I have bought over 40 cars in my lifetime, will never deal with them again they were only interested in the $$$that they made, would NOT recommend this dealership they were all just a bunch of kids running the dealership knew nothing of customer service ,too bad More
THIS DEALERSHIP IS THE WORST!!! NOT A HOAX I bought a CPO truck from LIA on May 29, 2014... It is July 15, 2014 I have had my truck for 3 days total in this span. The check engine light went of I bought a CPO truck from LIA on May 29, 2014... It is July 15, 2014 I have had my truck for 3 days total in this span. The check engine light went off on my way home from the dealership. I live in NJ 2 hours away from LIA's dealership. I bought a extended warranty on this truck through DODGE. This warranty was a great sales pitch by LIA's salesman Steve. He told me with this warranty I could bring it to any Dodge dealer. I brought my truck to Route 46 Dodge in Little Falls, NJ. They found a exhaust issues, turbo issues, driveshaft issues, ball joints, U joints, and a OPEN RECALL pertaining to Tie Rod Assembly. The exhaust went from a 3.5 inch exhaust down to a 2.25 inch exhaust. This is a 5.9 cummins! Anyone who knows diesel should know the tailpipe has to be at least 3.5 inch to run properly. With this modification it has damaged the turbo unit. The driveshaft was in such bad shape that Route 46 had deemed this truck unsafe to drive... Lia let me leave in a truck that another Dodge dealer deemed unsafe to drive! Luckily I was alone. I would hate to see some ones family injured because of LIA's neglect! So I wrote a letter to LIA stating all my issues. LIA decided to pick up my truck and bring it to them to be fix.. It has been there for a long time they fix some of the issues like Ball joints and U joints... YES the cheap ones! But they insist the exhaust is right!!! Which is kind of scary because Chrysler Corp employees seem to agree with me on this! I would know I have only been on phone with them 10 times. They have asked me please tell Jeff at LIA who is the service manager to please contact Chryslers STAR CENTER for the proper advice. He told he is not doing that. He claims its the right one!. FUNNY! because Route 46 and Chrysler Corp don't seem to think so. So the question here is Why will LIA not fix my car the correct way. My Opinion is that Lia was able to warranty all the parts they fixed. But cant warranty the exhaust because a exhaust system is a non warranty item.. This is a Truck that had to Properly inspected to give me a warranty on it... but then again LIA did the Inspection. IM STILL WAITING FOR LIA TO DO THE RIGHT THING AND FIX MY TRUCK PROPERLY!!!!!
