Different Salesman Tactics I buy and sell my cars around every year to 2 years and deal with salesmen constantly. I know how to deal with them by this point. However, with Rob I I buy and sell my cars around every year to 2 years and deal with salesmen constantly. I know how to deal with them by this point. However, with Rob I didn’t have to use any of my tricks of the trade to get what I wanted/needed. Very straight shooting guy. I actually felt as though he was doing the best of his ability to get me the lowest price on the car with the highest price for my trade. He definitely got me a good deal and I couldn’t be happier. feel like I was scammed for 2 days was talking to a sales person to get a specific car. nothing else just that 1 jeep. was even texted at 11:15 am given directions to come bu for 2 days was talking to a sales person to get a specific car. nothing else just that 1 jeep. was even texted at 11:15 am given directions to come buy this specific car. got there around 2 15 230 was a long drive alot of gas, to be told ohhh that car was sold this morning. my husband hit the doors and never looked back. are you telling me i couldnt have recieved a call a text to NOT drive all that way. xx I ve been in and around the car dealership game for years, my guess is you wanted to upsell us. well now you get no sale..... its been 24 hours and im still livid and shaking from this expierence. I will stay local and just wait for the same kind of vehicle to come on the market. would not recomend this place to anyone. More

I contacted Scott right away because he told me "give me a call if you need anything". Obviously, this was lip service because I called him and he told me I needed to speak with service and right from the start he appeared to want to not have it become his issue. Apparently, the sales personnel cannot take the time to intervene and assure the customer they sold a vehicle, gets the service (I would assume priority service due to the sale taking place just 10 days earlier) they deserve. Space will not allow me to give all of the details here. Suffice to say after four trips to the service department because this hapoened four different times due to the service technicians not doing a thorough job and rushing it through, leaving the vehicle and calls to the service manager and general manager (GM never returned the call), the inconvenience and waiting three hours during the initial visit, they finally resolved the issue. They did provide me with a rental vehicle only after we took issue with them regarding the situation, offering a shuttle to work (my employment is mobile and requires I have a vehicle). This whole situation should not have happened. Firstly, Scott should've made it his mission to ensure this was being taken care of correctly because he sold me the vehicle, and service should've gotten this by the second attempt to remedy the situation. The code was for the "evap" system, therefore, if it wasn't repaired correctly the first time, why not keep the vehicle and go through the entire "evap" system and find the leak, which is what was finally done. So far so good. The service writers are friendly enough but always appear rushed, Lia should hire more of them if they cannot take the time to LISTEN to their customers. Secondly, I had questions about this Zurich warranty Benjamin sold me and I am still not sure if another dealer will accept it if I need service, Benjamin seems to only respond quickly when the deal hasn't gone through yet, everybody is so quick to smile and take your money, need questions answered? Good luck! I blame myself for not declining the warranty pitch and just going with a Mopar extended warranty (You can purchase these directly from Mopar on their website) and probably get a similar deal but the piece of mind knowing you can take the warranty to any other dealer without question. This whole experience resulted in me getting the truck I was looking for and I am still satisfied with the product thus far. I am disappointed that after having made the purchase, the sales and warranty folks (Scott & Ben) were not more aggressive on the follow through. I am also disappointed that the general manager couldn't take the time to call my wife back. I wonder if I called and said I was looking to drop 30k on a new vehicle but I need to speak with the GM first, I wonder if he would've called then? The service department folks are nice and appear to be trying to do their job with what they have, the technicians could do a better job, apparently. Not sure if I will be back for service.......guess I won't have a choice if it is a warranty issue and I have to go back there. I do know, my wife will not be back to purchase the Jeep she was looking at. We have decided to take our purchasing business elsewhere..........where the salespeople stand behind the sales they make, help the customer AFTER the sale and the finance/warranty administrator doesn't come across like a salesperson himself. My wife purchased a brand new Nissan Altima from Lia back in early 2000's and that needed an entire engine replacement due to a recall. That whole experience was a hassle, to say the least. We didn't learn the first time and we should've never given into our desire to always give an opportunity for a second chance, with this dealership, we do not have good experiences. More
