SUPERB Service Moved from Los Angeles, California and shipped my LX 570 to MD last fall. After a few months I noticed the chrome moldings were starting to peel. My first instinct was to bring the vehicle to the Owings Mills Lexus close to were I live. All I got was being told that this was a common issue! Having more faith than that on the quality of Lexus cars, I went to Lexus of Towson (a sister company of Owings Mills Lexus). I was met by Thorney Gibson, Service Rep., who immediately elevated the issue to the Service Director, Jim Dick. Jim immediately replied that they would fix the quality issue at no charge. Two days later, due to my busy schedule, I had returned to have the repair done. Thorney was waiting at the agreed time and the defective part was replaced. I was impressed to say the least. I always thought that the excellent service of Lexus in LA was because the people there were used to dealing with celebrities. (I certainly am not one) But to my surprise I was treated like one at Lexus of Towson. These guys stand by their product, as should be, and understand one of the most important reason why people buy a Lexus, being for it's quality above most others. They made me feel at home and like a celebrity! Jim and Thorney are model front line people Lexus Service/Dealers should be proud of and emulate. Few people in other auto service departments realize that the word "Service" means more than just repair and maintenance of a vehicle. It more importantly means the care and satisfaction of the customer! I am now a loyal customer and will definitely purchase my next Lexus at this location. I don't mind driving the extra miles to Lexus of Towson from Owings Mills. More

Buyer Beware. Do not trust Lexus of Towson Service Department. Please go to another Lexus dealer or another mechanic shop for a second opinion. They will state high cost repair items that you may not need. I have seen some reviews where it looks like there was some intentional damages to make a recommended repair. I have experience this as well since I went to my local trusted Mechanic. I believe the service reps\service techs all work under commision. The service director Jim Dick will not help with any complaints to his service department. His customer skills are poor at best. More
I had a wonderful experience buying a new 2013 Lexus gs350 fSport from Dan Morgan. I priced out and spoke with at least 6 competitor dealerships and was extremely impressed with their pricing, honesty a gs350 fSport from Dan Morgan. Dan was so accommodating that he even took my car over to get it tinted for me. He definitely went way out if his way to make my buying experience as pleasant as possible. I was so impressed with Dan and Lexus of Towson that I drove an hour from Delaware to buy from him even though I could have bought locally in Wilmington. I am very happy customer and will definitely be recommending this dealership and Dan to all my friends and family. More
Looked at RX350 on 12/29. Jonathon Butler called me 12/31 9:25 to work out a deal. At 11:45 he called and offered "between $47,700-47,800". Said he would try to work on it some more; incentive for getting m 9:25 to work out a deal. At 11:45 he called and offered "between $47,700-47,800". Said he would try to work on it some more; incentive for getting me to leave Mercedes and come to Lexus. Promised to call me back soon. Didn't. I called him at 1:30 and offered $47,500 to make the deal. Said he'c all me back. Still didn't. I called him at 3:40. He agreed to $47,500 and said he'd call me back. I thought they were closing at 5PM for New Year's. So at 4:45, I called him again. He said we were "good" at $47,500, that he'd be there until at least 7:30 PM and that (again) he'd call me back. He never called. I called him 1/2 9:45 AM to find out what happened. Lots of busy excuses. Said the deal is at $47725, but that he'd call his sales mgr. His sales manager, Paul, then calls me to say he'll do no better that $47,725. I tell him I'll have to think since that's not what was agreed to. Then Jonathon Butler calls me back and yells at me for "calling his boss". I didn't call Paul; Paul called me bcs. Jonathon gave him my #. Paul also goes on to say that Jonathon doesn't lie (implying I must be lying) and that they never have any complaints about Customer Service at Towson Lexus -- now that's a big lie; lots of complaints about them online. I called the manager. Left 2 messages. No call back from him. What a horrible operation! Will not do business with them. Probably going to go buy an Audi Q5 instead. I'd rather spend more and get better service and deal with more trust worthy individuals. More
