I began my experience wanting to explore a pre-owned 2010 GS 350 and a pre-owned 2010 LS 460. I came into the dealership with my own proof of financing from my credit union. The finance guy Randy Schuler harassed me until no end as they wanted me to finance with the dealership. I had to tell them SEVERAL times that I have secured my own financing. Before taking the car home Randy Schuler insisted that I sign a "temporary contract" before pulling off the lot as they request that me THE CUSTOMER go pick the check up from the credit union opposed to them faxing the purchase order all because they are greedy for money and don't want to wait for the check to clear they CARE NOTHING ABOUT YOU. They tricked me into signing this application as when I came back the next day I told them that I wasn't happy with the car but was willing to explore something in my price range a little larger in size or place me back in my vehicle that i originally came in. At this time the General Sales Manager Kevin Ferg stated NO we DO NOT take back vehicles nor will we give you yours back I don't know what to tell you sorry. He then proceeded to call the police to have my boyfriend put out of the dealership as my boyfriend had questions as to why they cant help me or return me to my OLD CAR when I haven't even had the vehicle 24 hrs. The General Sales Manager Kevin Ferg then threatens me as my boyfriend is forced to stand outside by saying I better return the check or else he WILL run my credit and HE WILL get it financed BY ANY MEANS NECESSARY this is FRAUD FLAT OUT plain as day. At this point I called the police on them and the officer suggested that I seek legal council as he has never encountered any such as this with a dealership. In addition while test driving one of their vehicles one of the sales people stole my sunglasses. This has been utterly the WORST experience of my life for me to be a first time Lexus owner. You have been warned please read the reviews on this site and take heed before purchasing a vehicle with this dealership. Let someone else's experience save you from being completely disrespected, lied to, stolen from, and bullied into your car purchase. Do your research and read these reviews carefully as I have. I have seen that there have been other folks that have experienced the same treatment as I have. More

It was a good experience and the car has been great. A few weeks ago when my Toyota Camry got up to 242K miles, I decided it was time to replace it. We went back to Cassidy at Lexus of Towson and found another excellent pre-owned Lexus ES 350. I am again happy with the car and the experience. More
Very pleasant experience I would recommended Joshua Barley to anybody in the market for Lexus. He made it easy to buy a Lexus for me. Love the car. I would recommended Joshua Barley to anybody in the market for Lexus. He made it easy to buy a Lexus for me. Love the car. More
Excellent experience in every way! I have to say It was a pleasure to deal with Dane and Johnathan, as they were both very helpful and accomadating. I was never rushed or pressured during the entire process. Furthermore they gave me $2000 more for my trade than Carmax offered. Also they gave me a nice discount on a hot car that very few Lexus dealers are discounting. In summary were Valley Motors and Nationwide Infiniti dropped the ball, Lexus of Towson hit a home run...... More

So I broug So, I got a recall in the mail that stated if my Lexus IS250 was running rough and the check engine light was on they would fix at no cost. So I brought it in and after a series if inconclusive test they told me I needed to replace the spark plugs. So I agreed. A day later the engine light came back on so I went back and ran some more test and still couldn't perform the free recall service because the new scan showed I needed a catalytic converter and they couldn't address that with replacing a portion of the exhaust pipe as well. Anyhow, I took my car without any service to two different Autozones and an Amaco and all three scans showed a P2757 code which was for a solenoid in the transmission. I did some googling and this explains all my symptoms. My question is that the dealership was trying to hit me up with over $2000 in charges for something I didn't need. Just like the spark plugs. This is inexcusable and we should be able to prosecute these guys and their blatant lies. The Service Consultants are nothing more than salesman trying to pick your pocket any way they can. I'm taking my car to a transmission shop to get this issue fixed. All in all, how can you trust these guys with such a blatant lie? Run, run, run from this place. More
RUDE USED CAR SALES MANAGER (Josh Katz). I AM NOT ALONE. BE CAREFUL. THIS DEALER LISTS CARS AS CERTIFIED, BUT THE PRICE NEXT TO THE LISTING IS NOT FOR A CERTIFIED CAR. THEY ADD AN ADDITIONAL $1000 FOR CERTIF BE CAREFUL. THIS DEALER LISTS CARS AS CERTIFIED, BUT THE PRICE NEXT TO THE LISTING IS NOT FOR A CERTIFIED CAR. THEY ADD AN ADDITIONAL $1000 FOR CERTIFICATION FEE. My overall experience was not pleasant. I bought the car just because my family liked the car and I could not find another one with that color combination within 80 miles radius. Besides, I sold my car the weekend before and we needed another car. The car I bought was listed on the Internet (Lexus Pre-Owned Site and the Dealership site) for $40,000 certified. I called in the morning and we negotiated to $38,500. I provide my information and they ran credit and etc. When I arrived, I saw them adding $300 dealer processing and $1000 certification fee to the price. I understand and agree with the dealership’s processing fee, but I could not understand the $1000 certification fee. The used car sales manager (Josh I think), who is the rudest individual I have met in my life, told me that the Internet price and what we negotiated did not include the Lexus certification. I could buy the car without the certification and not pay the $1000. I called other dealerships and they said that their online price includes the certifications. I manager, knowing that I traveled 80 miles, told me that I don’t have to buy the car and this is the way they do it. Another thing that really ticked me off was the manager’s unwillingness to fix things with the car. The front bumper had a scratch and I wanted that fixed. He said that with that price, he has no room to fix that. He sold me the car pretty much at the asking price. I told him how much it would cost to fix the bumper. He was unwilling to move from his spot to go and check. He just said that he doesn’t know and he can’t find out. He basically told me that I am not an important customer to him and that he doesn’t care if I buy or not. I bought the car because I liked it, but I told him that I write a review about him and his practice with adding the $1000 certification fee. He acted that he doesn’t care. Either he owns the dealership and feels untouchable for he lacks basic sales person or even human interaction skills. Apparently I am not the only one who felt the same way about the manager. I really enjoyed the business manager (finance guy) I dealt with. The sales guys tried to make me happy, although I think he should have told me if they were planning to add another $1000 to the price. More
The Dane Spealman Experience There is a General Sales manager that works at this location "Dane Spealman." If you look at when he started working at this location and then take There is a General Sales manager that works at this location "Dane Spealman." If you look at when he started working at this location and then take a look at when the bad reviews started happening more frequently for this dealership.. We're talking about a guy who's last 4 reviews on THIS SITE ALONE are talking about how miserable it is to even try and get a foot in the door. Before you go here. I implore you to go speak with Dane Spealman FIRST and get a REAL FEEL for how this place operates and what their ethics really are. I'll let you judge for yourself and then come join the rest of us taking our frustrating experiences out on review sites b/c, quite frankly, the people above this guy don't want to hear it either - pretty sure, they know, they've got a big problem personality in their midst. Hint: Lexus of Towson - if you had a bad sales month - it's NOT because of the economy (sic) it's because you have an OUT OF TOUCH General Sales manager who will also claim to be the General Manager and the Owner himself to avoid scrutiny - this guy was the worst of the worst I've ever seen. He has a HUMONGOUS EGO. He acts like a big NEW YORK HOT SHOT but everyone realizes this except for him. We all know it the "big fish in a small pond" Napoleon Complex at it's finest going on here - it's quite quite evident just in the demeanor alone but wait til that mouth opens up!! HAHAHAHA What a JOKE!! He can't take another type-A personality walking anywhere near him (wonder how he's lasted this long at a Lexus anyway - please go back to Toyota dude - you probably are a KING over in that world - so go act like that over there) and he doesn't play well with others, his staff is frightened of him according to some in the area. I'd be better off begging some other car dealership to take my $40K - according to Dane Spealman and that was actually his one sound piece of advice but I could barely hear it through the thickest, most ignorant sounding idiot abroad NY attitude and accent I've ever encountered. NOT HAPPY. More
Don't bother I dealt with this dealership today and would never go back regardless of prices. I was over 45 minutes away and looking at an identical car at another I dealt with this dealership today and would never go back regardless of prices. I was over 45 minutes away and looking at an identical car at another dealer. I reached out to this dealer to see what they would do. It was a used vehicle with 5k miles on it which was the same as the one I was looking at in Annapolis. The salesman I dealt with isn't listed below but I wouldn't even highlight that if he were. I got to the dealership and the car wasn't ready to be seen. They had over an hour to get it prepped and ready. The car was filthy had clear signs of dent repair (marks from the suction cups), a scratch on the driver door, nasty curbage on the front bumper, paint on the headlight and a beat up interior. This is not what I call a "great looking car". Not only did they waste our time with this... They told us one price to get us there and then told us the price would be $500 more. Classic bait and switch. Additional to the price I was told, I was also told if I came there in person they could do better... The previous written is NOT what prompted me to write this... The sales manager came over, did his typical, normal, im the sales manager deal. When we told him our concerns on condition and the price on the other car his response was "then you should get the other car, I just put this on my lot". I told him I wanted to reach out to the other dealer to see where they were and he literally got up and walked away without saying a word. Instead of calling the other dealership I got in my car and drove there and bought the car. We were coming from an IS250 AWD. Loyal Lexus customers and we will NEVER be back on this dealers lot. If someone in upper level management reads this... You have a serious problem. You have a bunch of cattle drivers working for you. Get rid of the managers and get some leaders. You see it in the face of the sales people that work there and your manager lacks basic communication and professionalism skills. Take a look at the other reviews from your site and do something about it. There are many Lexus dealerships in the state. People want to enjoy buying a vehicle and your dealership does not provide that experience. If it were possible to give you a 0 I would. More
