POOR COMMUNICATION between staff and customers! Why is the wait so long every single time I schedule service? Pre-COVID or Post-COVID, services from getting just a basic oil change to getting new brakes- the wait so long every single time I schedule service? Pre-COVID or Post-COVID, services from getting just a basic oil change to getting new brakes- it does not matter because the excuse they give is always the same: "There is not enough staff". Why are you scheduling so many services at one time if they do not have the staff for them?! Please do not tell me the service will only take an hour and then I end up sitting there for 3 hours- be more honest with customers. If you are busy, admit you are busy. That way we as the customer have the choice to leave and come back instead of giving us false hope having us wait there. Maybe have more than 2 loaner vehicles available if you are going to have 20 people scheduled at one time. Oh, and how could I forget to mention the best part about my last visit! They didn't have any loaner vehicles available, but they had the courtesy shuttle take me somewhere (after already waiting at the dealership for it over an hour). The BEST part was them forgetting to pick me up after dropping me off :) At the time where I was supposed to be picked up, I called the dealership where I was placed on hold for 15 minutes until my service rep got on the phone and LIED saying someone was on their way. One minute later, I received a phone call from the driver saying he has not left yet and asked me where I was so he could come pick me up. If this was not the only Lexus dealership within a 2 hour driving radius to me I would go elsewhere. BUT WAIT THERE IS MORE! It was obvious when I got back in my vehicle after the service was done that the service department staff were using different things in my car like the portable charger I keep HIDDEN. It was plugged into the outlet when I got the keys to my vehicle- THAT was fun to see. Another fun thing was being told the total of the service (everything included in the price - even tax), but then sitting down to pay over $200 more than what was quoted to me! :) Again, if this was not the closest I would not schedule service here. I guess they can behave and have whatever customer service standard they would like since they are monopolizing us by being the only one in the area- awesome. More
Staff are nice, but my A/C still isn't fixed. Have to take it back for the 3rd time next week. Salesman did a great job holding me hostage for 3.5 hours to locate a car to make a deal and then there was take it back for the 3rd time next week. During this time, someone left my car running so long it went though a quarter tank of gas!! Last vehicle, I leased, and that was a 7 hour ordeal. Yes, I've learned my lesson now to will not allow these people to hold me for hours. CALL me when you have a deal!! I will no longer wait hours to play your game. More
Customer service response was a pain point. Tried calling the dealership 4 times and could not get through to anyone except for the parts division that is separate from the dealership itself and couldn’t for the dealership 4 times and could not get through to anyone except for the parts division that is separate from the dealership itself and couldn’t forward me to anyone at the dealership. Upon arrival for what was supposed to be a routine diagnostic check I was given a 2 hour turnaround time with no loaner cars available. Other than that their track record has been good and helpful.
