This is my third Lexus from Lexus of Sacramento and I have done all my service there even though I live in La Quinta, CA (the desert). Why? My lease was ending on my 3rd Lexus RX and because of the excellent service I have had in the past with Lexus of Sacramento I went back. I lease because I like a new car every 4yrs and it works for me. Kent Owens was the sales person I dealt with and he was awesome--made me feel like part of the family. He listened to what I wanted on my RX and made sure I got exactly that. We went for a test drive and had fun with all of the new features. I started part of the paper work that day and then came back the next day to finish up and work with Mike Zinda. Mike was awesome too and made everything so easy. I wanted to have my car Perma Plated and the wheel rims traded out so Jeff Dyke from Service handled that--excellently I might add. Last but not least was awesome help (with NO eye rolling) from Delivery Specialist Mark Castoreno. The cars after my 2009 come with keyless ignition and everything on a screen. Mark spent about 2rs with me going over the features which still baffle me. He was so patient and told me I could come back or call anytime for help. Then today I had a question for Kent. He didn't know the answer as the 2013 RX 350s have only been out about 3 weeks but I got a call from him in the afternoon with an answer. Kudos to all involved in my new lease. Because of the excellent service and excellent product that Lexus produces I will continue to be a loyal Lexus of Sacramento customer as I have been since 2001 and keep coming back. After 241,000 miles and high gasoline prices, I needed to upgrade my 2001 ride. So, after contacting my local Bay Area dealer and the personal shopper from my credit union and waiting for a month without any upgrade my 2001 ride. So, after contacting my local Bay Area dealer and the personal shopper from my credit union and waiting for a month without any responses, last Friday, June the 1st at about 10:30pm on line I found the loaded certified 2010 Highlander Hybrid Limited under 26,000 miles color and everything that I was looking for and contacted the dealership. Immediately, the following morning on my way to the Macy's in Union Square SF to film "The Great American Chef's Tour" I had 2 emails informing me that this vehicle was still available. That's when my relationship with Kent Owens began. Kent was quick to the point, as filming a live TV show is a hectic and relentless pace. Kent knew the specifics and mostly understanding with my needs as a Key Grip freelance independent contractor working 6 days a week 10-12 hrs a day in different locations and changing hours. Kent was willing to hear and listened to my requests, needs and expectations and provide the out of the box service required needs to make this deal happen for us. Time and pressure was pushing close to the edge as it now was close to 3pm on Saturday and we just managed to make contact with my credit union and Kent before they closed for the weekend. Things were looking good, as it was mid weekend and because of our distance and inability to have a physical one on one if things did not fall into place at the right time there was no assurance that this could go through. But Kent hung in there assuring, negotiating and presenting options. On Sunday while I was working a photo shoot in Brisbane, CA documents were emailed, texts flew back and forth, papers were signed and faxed and phone calls were made. Kent's down to earth, part of the family, friendly and comfortable style made the entire experience and work through the process of the paperwork, negotiations, trade-in such a win/win situation that when he offered to actually drive the car down on Monday and meet me at another photo shoot in Sausalito, CA and meet me there at my lunch time on a rainy and windy day, there was no doubt in mind that this man and this dealership was not your regular ordinary or customary operation. My only regret is the physical time constraint that shortened the amount of time Kent and I actually spent toghther to about only 45 minutes. But let me be clear, that those were quality packed, information filled and the person to person contact with a man who had gone the extra 100 miles (texting me as he neared) dedicated to informing m, answering my questions and making it completely convenient for my out of the box life to have the personal and intimate experience of finding the car that I've been looking for. My family, my wallet and I are extreamly thankful for meeting Kent Owens and making it happen. Today as I enjoyed driving my 2010 Hilander Hybrid to work this Tuesday morning to the KQED filming at the Castro theatre in SF, I am proud, honored and humbled of the entire experience that I shared with Kent Owens and the Sacramento Lexus Dealership. My sister (Olga Rozvodovskiy) recently wanted to purchase a 2012, Lexus RX400h from Lexus Of Sacramento. Her sale person (Lonnie Daily) told her that he can give her a really good deal and wanted to bet her a 2012, Lexus RX400h from Lexus Of Sacramento. Her sale person (Lonnie Daily) told her that he can give her a really good deal and wanted to bet her that he sold a Lexus vehicle to someone she knows. Lonnie pulled my record and told my sister that he sold me my 2008 Lexus RX350. My sister called me and asked me if I bought a vehicle from Lonnie. Of course I told her no, I bought my RX 350 from Lexus of Roseville, from Tony who by the way is a great sales person. My sister was very disappointed in Lexus of Sacramento, especially with Lonnie Daily who was willing to lie to make a buck. I want to make customers aware of Lonnie Daily and I am very frustrated that my sister had bad experience. My sister ended up buying an Acura MDX 2012. I believe that Sacramento management team need to provide some training for Sales Associate Lonnie Daily, and I am formally requesting an apology letter to my sister and Lonnie Daily can cc me the letter. Since Lonnie Daily was able to find my name in the computer system to lie to my sister that he sold me the vehicle, I am sure he can find my address to mail me the letter. More
My husband and I had been looking and test driving cars for about 6 months and couldn't fall out of love with Lexus after driving a GX 470 for 8 years. At the recommendation of our Service Rep, Brandy Jos for about 6 months and couldn't fall out of love with Lexus after driving a GX 470 for 8 years. At the recommendation of our Service Rep, Brandy Joseph,we met Kent Owens and were impressed with his knowledge, passion and warm personality when discussing the RX 350 with us. He gave us a deal we just couldn't refuse so we bought a 2012 RX 350 in December. When Kent delivered the car several days later, he took considerable time to acquaint us with all the new technology. On several occasions, he has assisted us in learning more about our new high tech car. We love the car, Sacramento Lexus and especially Kent Owens. We rate Kent superlative and recommend him to anyone looking for a fine new Lexus! More
We made an appointment for a test drive and we were greeted by Kent Owens. He was very professional, very polite. After driving a couple of the RX350's, we had an appointment with the Cadillac dealer to test drive a 2012 SRX. We ended up coming back about 4 hours later and inking a deal on a 2012 RX350. We did the Costco pricing and were very happy with the no-haggling way of buying a vehicle. Kent was busy with another client when we came back so we did the deal with Michael Kennedy...very nice and very knowledgeable. He even paired our Iphone and Motorola phones and downloaded the address books. Mike Zinda the finance manager doing all the closing paperwork was great. It's always a pain to do all that paperwork, but we chit-chatted and told stories and it went fairly quick. Nice fella. To show you what kind of customer service they do here, I have to let you know what happened the next day when we came back to get our old car. On the way in there we got hit with some bird dung that I swear came from a giant condor! I was pissed and drove like 70-80 mph to get in there and get it cleaned up. I hurried in and asked for Kent and told him what just happened. He said the porter was not in yet, so he just took off his jacket, rolled up his sleeves took it upon himself to get it cleaned up. Wow! Needless to say, I was impressed. I was in watching the game on tv and Kent was out in the breezeway helping my wife get a few more contacts loaded. These guys go all-out. If you are in need of a new ride and are considering a Lexus, you'll be wise to look up Kent Owens and Michael Kennedy. Thanks guys, Rich Lawson More

Never has a car purchase been so relaxed and enjoyable as this one. The Finance Department were easy to work with. No hard sales on the optional items. Bought a 2009 Lexus LS460 in Feb. 2009; numerous problems with sales and service issues on a $86 thousand dollar car! 1. Went back on a verbal sales agreement on price that was made with a handshake; made me with sales and service issues on a $86 thousand dollar car! 1. Tires were worn at 19,000 miles, did not disclose poor wear from factory on an expensive car. 3. Has left valve stems off of tires when checked. 4. Has said that 4 different tires on this car, and my other Lexus, needed new tires, when the tread was enough for another 3 thousand miles (checked by two independent tire dealers, with written proof.) 5. Failed three times to replace simple plastic gromet, after repeated requests. 6. Salesman promised free map upgrade for nav system, which also was a lie. Please beware of repeated mistakes, false promises, and poor service. Had to have Lexus corporate involved for restitution; service program only designed to sell or repair things that are not needed, and charge you for things that you don't need. Please, please, use another reputable Lexus dealer! More
