Car buying made easy I bought an ES 250 in 1990, upgraded to an RX 300 in 1999, and replaced that with a 2017 RX 350 that has all of the safety features. My wife drives I bought an ES 250 in 1990, upgraded to an RX 300 in 1999, and replaced that with a 2017 RX 350 that has all of the safety features. My wife drives a 2009 ES 350, so we are a Lexus Family. We started online through the Costco purchase program. We met with Mike Kennedy, who explained the pricing, which really takes the hassle factor out of buying a car. We selected a Satin Cashmere Metallic exterior color with Parchment interior. The test drive was phenomenal. It's amazing how computers and cameras have made driving safer and easier to navigate from place to place. The Lexus costs more, but we keep our cars a long time and I feel the luxury is worth the price. After we said "we'll take it," the paperwork, which is usually the painful part, was done by computer and went fast. By that time our new RX was outside with the big red bow on it, all ready to go. Samantha, from the technology department, very patiently, showed us how to work all the bells and whistles and paired our phones with the Bluetooth. When I was young you had to get up and walk across the room to change the channel, so the technology settings are a painful learning curve for us. We'll have to ask our grandchildren. My wife needs a mobility device to drive. Lexus gave us a credit to cover the cost of installation, which was a nice touch. More
