Delivered to my house - over 350 miles! I purchased a vehicle recently from Kuni Lexus. It had less than 9,000 miles on it, and the price was right. I was pleased that Dewey went above and beyond by delivering the vehicle to my house, which is in Spokane, over 350 miles from Kuni Lexus. It is this type of customer service that makes Kuni Lexus a place (and Dewey the sales associate) that I would highly recommend for those who are looking for a company that puts the customer first. Lexus is the number one rated safety car on the road and after going through all the facts, I was no longer looking elsewhere. I found Jeneva to be very informed as to the workings of the car and the features offered. She helped me pick out a car that was not only just the right fit for me, but a very good value for the features offered. Even throwing in the all weather floor mats. This is the first time I have bought a pre-owned car and after spending a day with Jeneva where she took the time to explain all the details, I drove away feeling confident that I made the right decision. After the purchase she introduced me to Steve who was very kind and patient in showing me haw to set up all the features to my personal specks. Lexus you rock......and you have great sales people. Never felt pushed or worked over like many dealers make you feel. More

Top Notch I had been looking for a 2006-2007 Highlander Hybrid for nearly 2 months. That's a pretty tough vehicle to find, especially with the options I was looking for. When a 2007 came up at Kuni, for the right price, I had to call. I live in Seattle, so I did everything by phone while my brother in law, who lives in the area, checked out the car for me. J Louis was so helpful and went the extra mile for me. Since my wife and I were both on our bank loan pre-approval, she had to be there to sign papers, but it didn't work out that she could. So J Louis got me approved by myself (at a higher rate because I don't make much money) and then we will refinance through my bank at the lower rate, with zero early pay-off penalty from the bank Kuni used to finance me. This particular vehicle came in on trade. They did 3 pages of maintenance on the vehicle before they listed it, not to mention a full detail. One if the maintenance items was replacement if timing belt and water pump, which alone is about a $1200 bill. Who does that? This is is a very reputable dealer, and they obviously stand behind their cars, even the older ones. J Louis could not have been any better. As I mentioned, he went the extra mile, was not the typical pushy, high pressure, annoying salesman. As I was getting in the car to leave, he noticed there was no license plate frame on the front, which is fine in Oregon, but not in Washington. He pointed it out, not me, and got me a frame and proper screws for the frame. I could not be any happier with my experience, and would definitely recommend Kuni to anyone. They have restored my faith in buying a vehicle through a non private party! More
Wonderful Buying Experience The last time I had a buying experience that went as smoothly as this was ten years (and five cars) ago. I came to Kuni Lexus of Portland (KLP) after The last time I had a buying experience that went as smoothly as this was ten years (and five cars) ago. I came to Kuni Lexus of Portland (KLP) after visiting and/or corresponding with three other dealerships as I searched for a very rare Lexus vehicle. Being on the east coast, I first tried to purchase the vehicle locally (relatively speaking - range of 200 to 800 miles away, depending on the dealership). Things did not work out with the other dealerships for various reasons; in some cases, the vehicles were not the right car for the price, and in one case, I was dealing with an ethically-challenged dealership. At that point, I decided to contact KLP about the vehicle advertised on their website, which I had seen before. The responsiveness of the team at KLP was second to none. I was immediately contacted by Rob Bernardi, who was very professional and had great disposition and willingness to answer questions about the vehicle. Because he would be out of the office in the coming days, he promised that his colleague, Bergen Allee, would follow-up, and she did just that, exactly when promised. I continued to deal with Bergen thereafter, and found her to also be very professional, helpful and extremely easy to deal with throughout the negotiation process. While negotiation techniques are pretty standard (i.e., we all read more or less the same negotiation books, take the same classes, etc.), I felt that we had a series of productive exchanges that led to a mutually-agreeable set of terms in a rational, data-driven manner. I find this noteworthy, because the last dealership I had dealt with played numerous games and did so quite sloppily. In contrast, both Bergen and Rob knew that I had done my research and treated me accordingly. In essence, as a buyer, I wanted a fair deal, and as sellers, I expected them to make a profit. This seems simple enough, yet it is amazing to see how many dealerships get this (and other "basics") wrong. Not this team. Long story short, doing business with Kuni Lexus of Portland was a very positive experience. They were forthright about the condition of the vehicle, negotiated fairly and were also very fair on their trade-in allowance for my vehicle (which I shipped to them). The one thing I regret is not being able to take delivery in person (given the distance)! Thank you again, Bergen and Rob! I love this car. More

Best Car Buying Experience Yet! We have purchased a number of cars over the years and visited many dealerships. However this was the first time we've been to a Kuni dealership. On the day we bought the car we visited 5 dealerships and it started with the Kuni Auto Shop. First thing we noticed was how professional they were and they were all about "us" and the car we wanted. They didn't try to sell the car that's been on the lot the longest and needed pushed. They didn't hear "car" and then try to sell a truck. It was a very welcomed visit. Unfortunately they didn't have a car we wanted. Next was a couple typical lots. Heard about how a salesman Destroyed his 84 civic and how he now has a Fusion. The kid was barely out of high school and probably needed some people skills. We left quickly. We then visited the Kuni BMW lot and quickly found they didn't have a car we were looking for either. It's weird how you go to a lot, see the salesmen waiting like sharks, and quickly think of a way to leave. At the second Kuni lot there was nothing like that. In fact as we left my wife and I talked about how awesome the two Kuni lots seemed and sad they didn't have a car we wanted. Lastly on the way home we went by Kuni Lexus and decided to stop. Again the same welcoming feeling. We met a gentlemen named Duy Dang (Dewey). We told him what we wanted and he quickly checked their inventory, online, in front of us. Low and behold they had one!! Before even getting the keys he got us a printed copy of the carfax and it looked perfect. He grabbed the keys. During the test drive he didn't try over selling the car at all. He just let us drive. No stories of how fast it is, how great it does on hills, or any other stat he thinks we're interested in. He sat, answered questions, and let us drive. I can tell you I don't know much about Dewey nor do I need to. He didn't try to over sell HIMSELF as some amazing car salesman, bragging about his accomplishments in life, or trying to become our best friend, he simply guided us with answers to our questions. No rush, no false gimmicks, no unnecessary flattery. We found ourselves ENJOYING the process. There was no haggling either. It went like this, I made an offer on the car, they came back with a counter offer (3-5 mins I might add), and I countered again. SOLD! The whole "negotiations" lasted less than 10 mins!! I can tell you we took delivery of a great car and we WILL be back!! Everybody was great! Corrie in finance, Matt in service, and of course Dewey in sales. We will be getting our car serviced at Kuni and will at some point trade it in at Kuni. I know that the Kuni difference is real and across all their dealerships. Kuni just bought a lifetime customer with Dewey's help just as I've bought a car. No negotiations needed!! More
