Nothing but praise for the whole process of trading in old car and picking up new car. !!!!OUT OF STATE BUYERS BEWARE !!!! Where do I get started if I could give a negative review I would. I bought a car here on July 13th 2024, when I signed all the paper work with the finance manger started if I could give a negative review I would. I bought a car here on July 13th 2024, when I signed all the paper work with the finance manger Scott, he was to busy talking about how much money the dealership made rather than focusing on having me sign the correct paper work. I get a call 2 months later telling me the finance Manger forgot to have me sign some paper work to get my Plates filed. I understood and they fedex 2 day shipped them out to me. To my surprise when I opened it the papers weren’t only for my plates but other very important paperwork that makes me believe the deal didn’t even go through correctly since they didn’t have me sign like 5-7 sheets. Once I sent it back this happened around 8/20/24. I waited a few weeks then reached back out to my sales guy and he assured me that everything was fine and he is sure I would get my registration and plates within the time of my temp tags expiring on 10/11/24. I could never get a response from Scott the finance manger in the multiple times I called his desk always would go to voicemail. I then started trying to talk to other managers I finally got the response from the general manager Skyler. At first he seemed helpful and trying to help. For some reason he admitted that they had a Government agency in their dealership at some point because customers gave complained about this same situation. He told me Iowa is hard to work with. I could maybe understand that. But having 3 months to file paperwork then having the paperwork not signed that is 100% in them and not on the state of Iowa being hard to work with. From there he told me he would reach out to me the next day a Wednesday but never did. Then I reached out on Thursday and he was out on his day off. I reached back out on Friday. He then told me someone from their offices would reach out and give me an update. This was on Friday 10/4 which at this point my plates expire on 10/11. There is no way possible my plates would arrive before they expire. I continued to ask what they could do for me as clearly this was their mistake and negligence on still not sending in my registration. He continued to try and argue after I told him I would need a rental Car as this was my only vehicle. He told me the dealership would only pay a ticket and other cost if I got pulled over and given one. This baffled me that he would tell me to drive without a registration and if I got pulled over they’d cover it, I drive over an hour away from home. If I were to get pulled over a police officer isn’t going to allow me to drive my car and I would be stranded. I was tired of arguing with him and told him to have a good day. That same day I got a call from someone at their accounting office telling me the situation, that BARLEY ON FRIDAY 10.4 they sent my paper work to the third party filing company to be sent to the state of Iowa. SO STILL not filed, Just sent to the company who would do it. she told me at the soonest it would be 2 weeks for me to get my registration and plates. If you can avoid buying a care from here I would. The fact that they don’t take any accountability for their mistakes to make it right. I have spent multiple hours calling trying to figure this out and got the run around for over a month is insane to me. Company would get a negative rating if I could. They clearly only care and give proper attention while you’re buying but once you’re out the door they could care less. More
