I was worried about the cost of owning a Lexus but Maplewood Lexus has been nothing but a dream to work with. Their friendly staff and their willingness to treat you right goes above and beyond. Brought my car in for service and was told I had a coolant leak. Estimate for repairs was $2000. Was told by the service technician that it was “one of the worst he’s ever seen” and that this “happens coolant leak. Estimate for repairs was $2000. Was told by the service technician that it was “one of the worst he’s ever seen” and that this “happens a lot with RX 350s.” Felt pressured to leave it there as I was able to get a loaner right away! Brought my car to another repair shop & they could find no leakage it was bone dry! I was given fake pictures from Lexus. The other auto body repair shop said it wasn’t even my car! Beware of scam artist- out right lies. Writing this so other customers do not have the same experience. More
Brought my car in as the transmission seemed to have a lag. First time in and had heard great things about the dealership. Couldn’t have been more disappointed. They took over two hours to do a diagnostic lag. First time in and had heard great things about the dealership. Couldn’t have been more disappointed. They took over two hours to do a diagnostic. Found no stored faults. I specifically asked them to drive with the service technician to explain the issue. They were not interested in letting me do that. Proceeded to tell me I needed a new transmission and a timing cover replaced as it was leaking oil. In all, said I needed over $15K in repairs. Brought it to another shop to get a 2nd opinion and they said it was likely my alternator not the transmission as their diagnostics showed that there was not enough power. And said that there was nothing leaking from my car. Cost for repairs will be less than $2K. Will definitely not be back to this dealership. More
Bought a CPO 2014 GX460 in 2020. Our service reps Mike Mullen and Angel went out of their way to make sure we were satisfied with the work done.
