Miscommunication but made OK I was schedule with the service writer I normally use. When I got there, I was told I was with someone else, because my service writer had been promo I was schedule with the service writer I normally use. When I got there, I was told I was with someone else, because my service writer had been promoted to service manager.. They said to wait in lounge. I waited for about 15 minutes then someone else showed us because the new person went to lunch. I. was very frustrated. I was disappointed that when I scheduled the appointment with my normal service person, he didn't tell me he had been promoted and someone else would be my writer. I thought that I would have been told. My new service writer need of my frustration (change of person/having to wait) so Lexus took care of the service. Interesting when I look at the list of names to select from as to whom I dealt with, I do not see the name of the person that I was "pushed" off to (the one that went to lunch). I wouldn't have minded dealing with another person, just felt the person that went lunch should have told me what was happening. Also I felt my normal service writer should have also been the one to tell me he would not be my service writer as he was promoted. I am happy for him. I have used Lexus of Knoxville for 11 years and have purchased two cars there. Therefore, I felt like I was owed a little better communication. More

In and our fast, loaner car available! I called and was given an appointment at my convenience. I was also given a loaner car for a very minor service need. When I picked my vehicle up, I I called and was given an appointment at my convenience. I was also given a loaner car for a very minor service need.
