Rapacious, Incompetent and Dishonest Brought Lexus in for service of failed microswitch. They called and said it needed $1,000'd of repairs including $99 wiper blades, brakes, computers, Brought Lexus in for service of failed microswitch. They called and said it needed $1,000'd of repairs including $99 wiper blades, brakes, computers, etc. Also complained of cracked dashboard and was advised to contact Lexus. I told them to just repair the suspension fault and and was charged over $2,000 for what is truly only a $50 part that installed in minutes. They quoted $well over 2,000 for the dash replacement. I called the Lexus Customer service center and they were rude and indescribably dishonest. They said they would pay for half of the replacement part but only if the dealer installed it. I explained that the price the quoted for the part was TWICE the verified cost of the part online and that their quote for labor was MORE THAN DOUBLE that listed in the Lexus flat rate manual and verified on the Lexus Owners Group website. She said "final offer take it or leave it!". Subsequently pulled in with a stuck open sunroof only because it was going to rain. Was told I needed a $1,000 r&r of the motor. Got home and troubleshot myself. There was a leaf stuck in the track. One year ago received Lexus recall to replace the dash I complained of three years ago. Despite multiple calls still no replacement and multiple promises broken. Not only is this dealership the worst I have ever encountered and totally corrupt - Lexus is not a bit better. The outrageous markup of parts and the criminal deception as to needed repairs is astonishing. First - don't EVER buy a Lexus. Second - don't ever bring it here for service. More
