The most important aspect after leaving the showroom is customer service and to ensure that you're receiving attention as a customer and the proper service to your vehicles. Mr Pankaj Patel, Director of C customer service and to ensure that you're receiving attention as a customer and the proper service to your vehicles. Mr Pankaj Patel, Director of Customer Service at Bay Ridge Lexus is second to none in providing service. His attention to his customers is impeccable. He's a consummate professional and a true gentleman. I have had 9 Lexus vehicles primarily due to the fact that Mr Patel and his staff have been fair and honest with me and my family. He treats us with respect. He's patient and explains the service that's required. A couple of personal stories if I may: My daughter was stranded on a Saturday afternoon and Patel was helpful in getting her help with Lexus Roadside Assistance...he could have simply given her a number to call, but he took the time to ensure she was safe and was getting the proper service. Another time, my daughter was 300 miles away and had a problem with the remote in starting the car. Patel took her call, calmed her down, and guided her as to how to get her RX350 started. He's a class act. Again, he made sure she was safe and actually called her back later in the day to take sure she was OK. Where else do you get that sort of treatment? It’s unheard of. There is a gentleman working with Mr Patel named Mario. I believe he is the chief technician. Not that I've had many problems over the years, however whenever one has existed, Mario waves his magic wand and everything is perfect. He too is a fine gentleman, a class act, and remarkably competent in his field. It’s a pleasure knowing him. In many cases and in all businesses, customer service is criticized for one reason or another. If you have the opportunity to be treated by this team, I'm certain your confidence level in customer service will be restored fully. I wish the organization much success in their new location. Sincerely, Neil Diamond & Family...Staten Island, NY More

At Bay Ridge Lexus you When I purchase a car, the dealership is important. But the service department determines if I will be a returning customer. At Bay Ridge Lexus you get a great overall experience. I have been a customer since 2004 having purchased my third RX in 2010. The personnel from management to cashiers in both the sales department and the service department treat you professionally. I have even utilized the expertise of Tony in the Body Shop at Long Island City Lexus. They always make sure that you are happy with your purchase and service. When you receive your car, the sales department presents your car in a very memorable way. When you return for service, the service department provides you with a service representative who follows you throughout the care of your car. Waiting for your car is never a torture. The waiting room provides a relaxing atmosphere. They provide coffee, juice, and breakfast of donuts and bagels. They even provide coloring books and puzzles for your children. I especially enjoy the working fireplace in the winter, while I watch TV or read a newspaper. To conclude, when you buy a car, don't just go by the dealership's reputation, see what type of service is provided to you. Remember, most of us keep our cars for years. Why be aggravated every 5,000 miles. More
I've come to BayRidge Lexus service, Brooklyn, NY to have a regular service (oil/ filter change, tire rotation etc.) for my Lexus RX-330. Once the oil change is done, they were supposed to fix appropriate bo a regular service (oil/ filter change, tire rotation etc.) for my Lexus RX-330. Once the oil change is done, they were supposed to fix appropriate bolts and nuts (bolts for the plastic sheet which is covering the engine from bottom) which are at the bottom of my car. I took off my car after getting the car from them and making appropriate payments. Once I drove about 2 miles from the servicing point, I realized that some huge noise is coming from bottom of my car (At that time i was driving on Staten Island big rope bridge, NY), I thought it's flat tire. After crossing the bridge, I got out of the car and saw then this plastic sheet is hanging on to the road and it's damaged as it was rubbing to the road. Then a cop came to the rescue, He came all the way back to the servicing station as a protection. When I showed the hanging plastic sheet to the servicing department, guess what the answer I got from them, " Sir, this is sheet has come off because of the huge wind flow on the Staten Island bridge, NY". Give me a break, I drove this lexus for 20k miles without a single problem. This sheet wouldn't come off just like that. Someone might have forgot to fix it, accept the truth and fix my problem. on top of it, they are not ready to accept the truth and made a false promise to replace the damaged sheet. This is been a week since I've had my car service done, since then I've not heard anything from them. This is utter nonsense. I had spend more than $500 for my car service and on top of it I had to damage my car for their wrong doing. I will never recommend this to any of my friends. More
Brought my car in last week for a previous recommended service to replace front and rear stabilzer bushings- 2001 ES300. This repair happened to be covered in full under my extended warranty. To make a lo service to replace front and rear stabilzer bushings- 2001 ES300. This repair happened to be covered in full under my extended warranty. To make a long story short- repair was suppose to be done in one day- it took two days. No problem since I had a loaner car. Only problem is that I stopped by the next day to pick up my car and the service advisor said they were busy and couldn't get to my car. He never contacted me to let me know this. Poor communication! I return the next day at 4:15 pm after receiving a call around 11:20 am stating my car is ready. I didn't leave until after 5:40 pm. The service advisor stated he was waiting for payment from the warranty company. I basically waited for over an hour and a half for something that should have been taken care of before I arrived to pick up my car. Now my car makes knocking noises after the repair was done. My car never made these noises before. To top it off they said I was responsible for the taxes on the repair since the warranty company was tax exempt. Again- no big deal- it was only about $20 BUT I had extended warranty service done at this dealer two years and didn't pay a dime?? When I get home annoyed I notice a charge for license plate bolts on the invoice after I left. They put Bay Ridge Lexus license plate frames and charged me for the bolts??? I guess they charge you to advertise their dealership?? I've been servicing my car there for about 3 years. They claim to have top notch expertise when servicing Lexus vehicles. However on TWO separate occasions when getting only an oil change- they never cleaned up the oil from underneath my car. I had to find oil dripping on my newly cemented driveway. This is something expected at the local Jiffy Lube but not at Lexus Service. I sent letters to the service manager and general manager with no response as of yet. I guess their BBB rating of an 'F' holds true. More
