I have several Lexus vehicles all of which have been outstanding cars. I've taken my cars to Lexus of Albuquerque on several occasions for repairs. Each time, the quoted amount has been astronomical. I outstanding cars. I've taken my cars to Lexus of Albuquerque on several occasions for repairs. Each time, the quoted amount has been astronomical. I finally found a good local repair shop that does excellent work at about 1/3 the cost of Lexus of Albuquerque. The ONLY time I will take my vehicles to this dealership is if they require a repair under factory warranty. More
I have been a repeated and satisfied customer of "Lexus of Albuquerque" for nine years. I have purchased several new LS430/460s from them during that peroid. It appears to me that most postings here are o of Albuquerque" for nine years. I have purchased several new LS430/460s from them during that peroid. It appears to me that most postings here are only from those folk who have sad experiences to report. I believe that those of us who have had excellent/good service and experiences don't take the time to say so. I believe excellent service is "expected" from Lexus dealers. My contact with dealers in Tulsa and Oklahoma City, Ok have also been excellent. Over the past nine years, I have had several repairs by "Lexus of Albuquerque" under warranty to my vehicles: e.g. driver's seat bottom replaced (cracked leather), air conditioner/heater replacement (under dash noise problem), Transmission and fuel pump replaced under a recall (dealer refilled the gas tank at no cost and Lexus Hq sent me a Chevron Gas Gift Card for $200 and along with their apologies and hoped that I had not been inconvenienced in any way), drivers rug (not fitting well, they replaced all rugs front and back), tire replacement (nail in sidewall, not really a warranty problem, Lexus replaced it anyway). The vehicle has always been repaired to my satisfaction in a timely manner with loaner vehicle provided. After experiencing serveral problems with a local General Motors dealer, e.g. shock absorber on new SUV broken in half. Service manager said that I just thot it should ride like a sedan and it was really a truck. On an oil change, GM dealer forgot to put any oil in the engine and I checked the oil level prior to leaving the area and found none. When I drove it back into the service bay the service rep commented that the engine did not sound right. The service manager quickly disappeared. The only reason I mention it is to confirm that I have experienced dealer problems in the past, but not from Lexus. I'm due for a "Valve Spring Recall" and expect and hope that this experience will be the same as in my past experience. More

They fixed it went out of town to Denver and had to take in to another lexus dealership all service lights were coming on. THey fixed what they could in one hour being that it was a weekend got back to albuquerque and noticed an oil leak. Issues were detected as well. I tried speaking to the manager their at the lexus of albuquerque Simon but he just never wanted to help me. All i wanted is a reliable dependable vehicle not one i have to take to service every week. I barely bought this vehicle not even a month from now its giving so much distress. I can't even think straight anymore worried about what else is going to happen to this vehicle while i'm driving it. I just want a lexus rx330 thats reliable and safe but he just seems not to work with me. I'm extremely dissatisfied with their vehicle they sold me and lack of proper management More
Took my Lexus to this dealer to have the steering wheel tilt-away motor checked. They inspected the car and gave me a written quote of $1,300.00 to fix the motor. I declined to have the work done and took tilt-away motor checked. They inspected the car and gave me a written quote of $1,300.00 to fix the motor. I declined to have the work done and took the vehicle to an independant shop. They checked the steering colunm and indicated it just needed to have the gear repacked with lubricant. Total cost to have the repair done: $ 43.00. This is the third (and last) time that Lexus of ABQ. has quoted rediculous prices to make simple repairs. I've heard their moto is "Replace, don't repair". Last time I will take any of my cars to this dealership for repair. Find a good independant mechanic (Tokyo Super 66 is great) for your Lexus work and same enough to buy a new one in three years. More
The finance manager couldn't explain the discrepancies in the lease. If he couldn't understand it...which I am sure is not true...then he shouldn't be working there. Sadly, I gave up because I wanted the c the lease. If he couldn't understand it...which I am sure is not true...then he shouldn't be working there. Sadly, I gave up because I wanted the car. More
My husband and I visited this dealership to test drive the new SUV hybrid. The on-site selection was limited, so we could only experience one car. We had a very nice salesman (name escapes me, but he was an older gentleman). We were undecided after our drive based on the size of the car, but had not made a decision. However, when our salesman, left us alone for 10 minutes to handle a car transfer, we had plenty of time to talk ourselves out of the car. We were very surprised that a salesperson would let the deal fall apart in this manner. More
