Lexus Of Orland - Service Center

Nick who took our car was great very nice and courteous. He told us what to expect and how long he was right on the money! We used the shuttle to go to breakfast while we waited. I had a car appointment. . after the work completed I got my car and left … after I drove the car for 20 mins, the hood alarm came on and I was unable to close my hood..I call . after the work completed I got my car and left … after I drove the car for 20 mins, the hood alarm came on and I was unable to close my hood..I called back to asked what was going on.. the service man never came to the phone or returned my call.. I ended up bringing the car back .. they took the car to the back I had to wait some additional time and then a young man comes out and tells me that a piece inside my hood is broken..and that he doesn’t know if my warranty covers it?? He also stated he would call me back regarding the car part and warranty.. it’s Tuesday and I have yet to get a phone call from the Lexus dealer .. so I have no idea what’s going on? Not to mention.. my hood was fine before I brought it into the dealership. More

I take my 2004 Lexus GX in for Reg. Services at the dealership in Orland Park. Which is where we purchased it in 2006. When I took it in last week I was told the chassis under the car was badly rusted and corroded. I needed to start looking for another vehicle. They also showed pictures of the damage. I have a problem understanding why I was not given this information when I took the car in in the past. We purchased the vehicle at this location, and have always taken in to be serviced. I know the vehicle old and that is why I try to take good care of the vehicle, and trusted it was checked every time it was taken in for service. I could have just taken it into any auto oil shop if I knew it wasn’t being checked properly. More
