After deciding it was time to trade in my Sienna minivan, I began the arduous task of choosing my next vehicle. Since this was going to be such a big purchase (and the retirement of the "swagger wagon"), I w I began the arduous task of choosing my next vehicle. Since this was going to be such a big purchase (and the retirement of the "swagger wagon"), I was a little unsure of what I wanted to drive next - something cool? something classy? something a little of both? My patient husband and I spent about 6 weeks of Saturdays test-driving every vehicle in the luxury SUV class before finally deciding on a 2013 RX 350, so we had met and dealt with many salespeople up to that point. They were all nice and friendly, but I always felt like I was going to have to give up one of the items on my wish list, and well... I don't like to settle. Since we lived in-between two Lexus dealerships, we had been to both of them in search of our "perfect" RX, but unfortunately neither dealer had an EXACT match (color, options pkg. & wheels), and our only option was to order one and wait another 3-4 months! Then, one night while searching Lexus inventory online, I found that Lexus of Orland had the vehicle I wanted. It was about a 45 minute drive away from my house, but after speaking with Peter on the phone several times and listening to him tell me that he would do whatever it took to get me what I wanted, I decided I had to go and meet with him in person. What a great guy! When I arrived at the dealership, he treated me like I was an old friend instead of a sales prospect. He's a genuinely warm and friendly family man, proud of his kids & grandkids, easy to talk to - but aside from that, he totally went above and beyond to put together my "PERFECT" RX, coordinating transfers and swaps and favors with two other out-of-state dealerships and his service department to get me the car I wanted. When all the other dealers told me they couldn't get me the car I wanted, Peter JUST DID IT. And he was able to get me a fair price on my trade-in, which helped seal the deal. He was so patient with me as I hemmed and hawed about a couple options on the vehicle and never made me feel rushed. It was a little stressful to make such a big decision, and at no point did I ever feel like I was being "sold" on something I didn't want or need - Peter let me take my time to decide on exactly what I wanted and just made it happen. But here's the cherry on top: I thought it was going to take a couple extra days to get the vehicle on site and ready for delivery, but when my husband and I came in the next day just to sign the financing papers, he actually had the car there and ready to go - WITH A GIANT RED BOW ON TOP!! I literally jumped for joy at the site of my new RX with it's big, red bow on top - it was the perfect Christmas gift! I would recommend Peter and Lexus of Orland to anyone in the market for a new car - he and the staff there will take excellent care of you! More
Traded in a 2005 Chrysler Pacifica for a 2013 RX. Chris Merx worked with us to get a better trade-in value. Chirs worked with us on other options (side bumbers, front shield & auto butler). Also purchased a 7yr/100K mile additional warranty. First Lexus and pleasantly surprised by the professionalism and perks (free car washes for Orland & Merrillville Lexus customers). Never met Chris before the purchase, but would always ask for him when I come back in. More

They had a hybrid Lexus before I knew it they had unloaded everything from my old Lexus into new and I felt so intimadated I signed the contract. Nothing was ever discussed with me, I had no time for questions, this was my first hybrid the only thing I was told "don't go past green line," I never got a chance to discuss price, etc. If you want to feel like your dealing with a low class junky dealership then go here. Otherwise find a dealership with integrity. I had no intention of buying a car here I would get a better deal in Texas where hybrids are not as in demand as here but they made me feel I had no choice. I am a senior citizen and this is still stressing me out. There are Camrys that give better milage or try the Tesla. More
My experience at this dealership was great. I went in knowing what I wanted and did an internet search ahead of time so they knew as well. I was in and out in two hours. There was no pressure into buying. They didn't try to push anything that I didn't want either. I would definetely recommend this dealer and the salesman that I had. More

Chris took the time to fully explain everything I needed to know about Lexus. I didn't make a decision the first visit, in fact I came back numerous times, and each time Chris was helpful, and patient. I actually changed my mind several times, but never once did I sense any impatience from Chris. There were no "tricks of the trade," just good service and good value. The free car washes are great bonus too! More
