I told him I would be interested in test driving a GS350, he pulled one out and we drove around for about 15 minutes, after returning to the showroom, we sat down and talked about different options. Mr. Merx could not have been more informative or polite, He is a credit to both your company and this dealership. It was not until this time I showed him the promotion pamphlet, his attitude never changed, he told me to keep him and Lexus of Orland in mind. It was really a nice experience, he signed my form and told me if I had any questions don't hesitate to call him. I had my trade in, which needed repair and was given a very fair deal on it, as well as a terrific price on the certified IS 350C. What a gorgeous ride. Mike was very down to earth and not your typical car salesman. He worked with me in every detail to make my experience a great one. We had previously worked with him at another dealership, and his discussion of this was very discrete and appropriate. We came in to test drive a few vehicles for our son and his family who are returning from a contract abroad. He treated us very well, knowing we could not make the purchase immediately. He is extremely knowledgeable of Lexus cars and confidently can explain all the features in detail of each model we inquired about. He was very professional throughout our entire test drive experience, knowing our position on purchasing the vehicles. He met all our needs, without any of the high pressure tactics sometimes exhibited by car salespersons. He was very accommodating, stating whenever we were ready to make a decision, he would be there for us to help finalize the sale of the cars. As it turned out, we came to see him as the most friendly, courteous, knowledgeable, and informative salesman we have ever encountered. He walked us through information that we wanted to know, presented us with facts we were not aware of and, overall, just left us with the feeling that he really wanted us to be in the know before we decided on a Lexus. Even though I was the owner of a Lexus now, and my previous car had been a Lexus, I had been interested also in another brand. Assad did not bad-mouth the car but told me some facts about the car that eventually made me make a serious evaluation about becoming an owner of that car. I am happy to say that I am very pleased about choosing the Lexus. I would also like to say a word about the manager, Kevin Martin. Also a polite and wise man. He did not interfere at all in Assad's presentation. When time came for a final price, he introduced himself and came up with an excellent price. We spent a little time discussing my alternate car consideration and were again given some information that made us more comfortable in our choice. We even told both that we intended to take a test drive in the other auto before deciding. Of course, almost right at the very beginning we were offered, and took, a test drive in the Lexus. When we came back the next day we test drove the Lexus again and saw that, for less than the final price of the other car, we had a much more comfortable car that have many more features and an overall quality of workmanship that was simply unbeatable. Of course, we bought the car. We have only had the new car a few days but already we have fallen in love with it. The looks and ride of this car is just superb. We are very happy that we walked into Lexus of Orland to check things out. It is a great dealership that has the highest level of customer service that makes the customer feel as if he is being treated by a close member of his family. Thanks to people like Assad, Kevin and, I assume, like the rest of the staff, the facility runs so smoothly that I am glad there was no question like "What didn't you like?" I have not purchased a vehicle in over 18 years because my employers have always provided a vehicle for transportation. I contacted Kevin to inform him what type of vehicle I wanted and the situation I was in and we made arrangements for me to come in and test drive the vehicle. Once I got to the dealership, I spoke to Kevin and he had Gus Jarmillo accompany me on a test drive as well as explain the features of the vehicle to me. Once we got back from the test drive, I knew that I wanted the IS 350 and Kevin and Gus made it happen in a stress free and flawless way. I was in and out of the dealership in under two hours. It actually took longer for the vehicle to be cleaned up than it took for the paperwork to be completed.
