Not enough nice things to say! I purchased a 2013 Escape from a dealer in Missouri. On the test drive there were no issues. However, when I got it up to highway speeds, I noticed a I purchased a 2013 Escape from a dealer in Missouri. On the test drive there were no issues. However, when I got it up to highway speeds, I noticed a vibration in the brakes. After a couple of weeks I called Lewis Ford and they told me that it sounded like warped rotors. Warped rotors at 49,000 miles? I took it to Lewis and that is what it was. To add insult to injury, these are not covered under my basic or extended warranty. My husband sent an email to the original dealer and Ford Motor Company explaining the situation and to see if there was any recourse we could take since this was gong to cost a lot of money. Lewis Ford called me the NEXT DAY! The original dealer has yet to call or email us back. Lewis made us an offer to fix the rotors at a discount. I took my car in on a Wednesday morning. That afternoon, Lewis called me back and said it wasn't going to be ready so they were going to give me a car to drive until Thursday. Thursday morning, they called and told me all 4 rotors were going to have to be replaced at no additional cost to me. Doug Smith and the entire Service team were so nice and accommodating. They did not have to do what they did for me. I highly recommend taking all of your Ford service needs to Lewis. I know I will. Thank you Lewis Ford! More
