Michelle was wonderful and the process to buy a car was easy, simple and straightforward. easy, simple and straightforward. More
This was the worst car buying experience I’ve ever had at a dealership. 1st, I went in with an appointment, I understood that the sales person I was working with, Brianna, was running behind so I had to wa a dealership. 1st, I went in with an appointment, I understood that the sales person I was working with, Brianna, was running behind so I had to wait about 15 minutes(didn’t offer any refreshments) & she said that she was going to send the customer she was working with on a test drive & get to me. Well, when she got to me and it was my turn to do a test drive she told me it was policy that she had to ride with me. I don’t know if I needed an escort because I’m Black & her previous customer was white, but that’s what happened. BTW the car is a 2019 Equinox for 11,195, so it wasn’t like I was trying to test drive a high value car. I wanted to switch sales associates, & I asked someone who was free at the time, but she told me she couldn’t take me since I was already working with Brianna. 2nd- I came fully prepared with pre-approval from my credit union & I knew exactly which car I wanted. I did not want to haggle about the price, just wanted to sign and drive. I called prior to my arrival to ensure the car was still available, when I got there, they couldn’t find the keys…took an additional about 10-15minutes. We then wasted another 15 minutes because they were trying to convince me to get in house financing. Then tried to have me leave a hundred dollar deposit because they were about to close and my sales rep must’ve had a hard out & didn’t want to finish up the sale. I told her no. 3rd- The next day while trying to to get the purchase complete they had to send the purchase agreement over 4 or 5 times because they kept leaving info out, or sending illegible copies to my credit union, which delayed the process until the next day. Also, they tried to slip a 100.00 charge on the cost of the car because of some 3M door weather stripping, said it’s policy because they add them to all of their cars, I questioned why it wasn’t already included in the sticker price if it’s policy? She ended up having it removed. 4th- When I go to pick up the car, 2 days after my initial visit, with the check in hand from my credit union, I had to wait 20-30 minutes past the appointment time given to me before I was assisted because Brianna was helping someone else, & still no refreshments offered. I ended up being at the dealership for 2 HOURS just waiting to sign paperwork. Brianna was saying the person handling the paperwork was new, & didn’t really know what he was doing. Then they had the nerve to offer me some warranties. I was thinking due to the inconvenience they would’ve offered a free sirus/onstar subscription, a bag of chips, or something. But no, wanted me to purchase a warranty, which I know is protocol, but seeing as how they handled my buying experience it felt audacious. In conclusion, I don’t know if it was the dealership or the sales person I got, but I was unhappy, & would not recommend. The only reason why I worked with them is because it was the cheapest price I found and needed to get a car fast for my mother. However, If you are going to use this dealership, I would not recommend working with Brianna Manelitini. More
Walked in the dealership, hoping to test drive and buy one, but no one said hello, sales people were standing around talking, and the place smelled like cologne. Could have made a huge sale, but I will be one, but no one said hello, sales people were standing around talking, and the place smelled like cologne. Could have made a huge sale, but I will be heading to Plymouth instead. I walked through the showroom, which had a total of four vehicles, and left without acknowledgment. Maybe car sales in Dearborn are booming and they don’t need walk-ins? More
Les Stanford Chevrolet is The Worst dealership that I have ever purchased from!! They recently gave ALL of my personal contact information to a buyer WITHOUT my approval and consent to a buyer that was b have ever purchased from!! They recently gave ALL of my personal contact information to a buyer WITHOUT my approval and consent to a buyer that was buying a vehicle from them that I recently traded in! Les Stanford violated my rights and privacy laws!! Beware!! Stay away from Les Stanford!! They also refused to reimburse me for repairs for damage on a brand new car that I purchased from them in August 2024!! Les Stanford also wanted to charge almost $700.00 to title and register a vehicle that I just personally paid only $112.00!! Shady and Corrupt Dealership! STAY AWAY!! More
I recently had the misfortune of dealing with Telicia Zanders at Les Stanford, and it has been the worst customer service experience I've ever encountered. Her "Best of the Best" motto is nothing but an Zanders at Les Stanford, and it has been the worst customer service experience I've ever encountered. Her "Best of the Best" motto is nothing but an empty slogan, as her behavior and attitude are far from it. From the start, Telicia was unprofessional and rude; it was clear that she had little regard for my concerns as a customer. When significant issues arose on Monday morning, instead of offering support, she seemed more frustrated that I was interrupting her dental cleaning. It’s shocking that someone in a customer service role would prioritize personal inconvenience over addressing a customer’s urgent needs. These issues likely wouldn't occur if there was a greater care for the job and more effective organization in place. Moreover, when mistakes were made on her end, she not only failed to take responsibility but also attempted to blame me instead. This lack of accountability is unacceptable, especially after spending a considerable amount of money at this dealership. I felt like my loyalty and investment meant nothing to her. I truly believe that if I were to act even half as poorly in my customer service role, I would be fired immediately. It’s disheartening to think that someone like Telicia Zanders is representing this dealership, making what should be an exciting experience feel miserable and stressful. The only reason I might ever consider returning is because of Scott Estes, who demonstrated professionalism and respect during our interactions. Unfortunately, my overall experience was ruined by Telicia’s appalling behavior. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and addresses the issues with their staff because no customer deserves to be treated this way. More
