Extremely unprofessional service department. Horrible communication and was not able to tell me how much my repair was going to cost until 3 days of sitting at the dealership. Also was not told Horrible communication and was not able to tell me how much my repair was going to cost until 3 days of sitting at the dealership. Also was not told how long it would take them to repair my vehicle for transmission cooler lines. Everytime I called it was always a game of tag to try and reach my advisor. Worked as a technician (not a lube tech) at another dealership in the area so I have a pretty good understanding of how things should operate. While looking into a tsb I also replaced a part to try and remedy another issue I was having with the IWS system. Not having enough time to work on it myself and the assumption it was covered under warranty, I had Leo Kaytes look at it at the same time. Come to find out, was not covered under my lifetime powertrain warranty, and they tried to say the check valve I replaced was aftermarket....I bought it from THEIR parts department as a genuine motorcraft part specifically listed in the technical service bulletin. Happy to learn my warranty is 3rd party and I can now go to any licensed shop. Today they had the audacity to call me out of the blue (months later) and ask me if I needed to schedule any service for any of my vehicles". Avoid this clown show. More

One of them was not even rated for a van of that size and weight agreed on their full asking price and they wanted me to pay for the two new back tires $37,000 for a used van with the wrong tires and they won’t replace two tires. They’d rather lose the whole deal we’re talking $37,000 vehicle and may be a $220 tire and it’s probably even less for their cost, they aren’t very good to deal with . More

LESLIE WAS RUDE, OBNOXIOUS, AND CURT. THIS DEALER AND THE STAFF IS STUCK IN TIME, THEY ARE IN FOR A RUDE AWAKING. I FILED A COMPLAIN WITH THE BBB, AND WILL MAKE SURE OTHERS ARE AWARE OF THE SHADY PRACTICES. THANK GOD FORD BUILD MORE THAN ONE CAR. EITHER WAY I'D STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP! Shop around, don't pay a penny over sticker I found several dealerships that had the car and were not charging over sticker. We purchased a Mustang Mach E from Leo Kaytes Ford. Buying a car with new technology can be a little intimidating. Knowing that we were purchasing our car from a dealership where you were treated with dignity and respect from an organization that has contributed to the community for years made that much easier. Our salesman, Mr. Rodger Homer, was knowledgeable, helpful and patient. That is something we really needed in making our decision to "buy in" to this new technology. We drove our new car off the lot, confident that we had made an excellent choice. More importantly, we knew that if we had a question or we had a problem with our new car, that we would be able to have any issues addressed by Leo Kaytes Ford, someone we could trust and someone that would address any issues that we have in the future. We are looking forward to picking up our Ford F150 Lightning next year from Leo Kaytes Ford! More
Horrific experience until we took legal action. My husband and I purchased a Ford Explorer in November 2018 from Leo Kaytes and had a positive experience from beginning to end. Naturally, when my h My husband and I purchased a Ford Explorer in November 2018 from Leo Kaytes and had a positive experience from beginning to end. Naturally, when my husband was looking for a newer truck, we returned to the dealership. Unfortunately, our second experience was nothing short of a nightmare. We ended up purchasing a 2018 F-150 on October 31, 2019. Within in a week, my husband has already experienced multiple issues with the truck (check break light, 4 wheel-drive would not engage, and a small fluid leak). My husband brought the truck in on November 6th and was assured the problems were fixed (they were unsure of where the fluid was coming from at this time but did put dye in the oil tank to find the leak if it were to continue to occur). That evening, my family returned home after dinner to find a much larger fluid leak and the check break light on again. My husband brought the truck back, where it remained at the dealership for 16 days. After having the truck back for a few days, the break light came back on. The truck spent another 12 days at the dealership. When the truck was picked again on December 7th, the light came on again. The truck went back into the dealership for about a week. When it was returned, the light remained off. Shortly after though, the truck began overheating as there was hardly any antifreeze left from the fluid leak that was never truly diagnosed nor fixed. Needless to say, we were frustrated and unhappy by this situation. I personally reached out twice via email with no response. When my husband expressed interest in exchanging the vehicle because for a similar one on their lot because clearly there was something wrong with the one we had purchased that could not be fixed, he was greeted with "you'll take a hit on trade in due to deprecation" by one of the sales mangers. At this point we had no other option but to contact arbitration and the Attorney Generals office and file a Lemon Law suit. When the dealership was made aware of this, they offered to buy the vehicle back from us. We ended up settling with them for the full purchase price of the truck as a convince to our family as we then needed to purchase a new vehicle. I am incredibly disappointed in our experience with Leo Kaytes. They have such high reviews, but our second experience was nothing short of horrific. Not one time did anyone apologize for the inconvenience this caused my family (we live about an hour away so each time the truck had to be brought in and picked up was a chore) nor try to may the situation better prior to us taking legal action. I hope that the next customer has a better experience and that Leo Kaytes did a full inspection and diagnosed/repaired all continuing mechanical problems of the truck we sold back prior to relisting it on their website. Horrible to deal with My girlfriend and I made a deal over the phone with the wonderful sales person, Sean. There was several issues but we had made it work. After planni My girlfriend and I made a deal over the phone with the wonderful sales person, Sean. There was several issues but we had made it work. After planning a day to go, we finally got there and had an issue with the insurance card. The finance "manager" Aaron walked out while we were getting ready to test drive the vehicle and sternly said to us that "we have a problem, and the insurance is not going to work. He was rude and unprofessional from the start. My girlfriend got the insurance taken care of and we signed papers. Upon leaving, the tire pressure light came on showing the front tire was 10 pounds lower then it should be. And the problems begin..... We immediately turn around and make them aware of the problem. They filled our tire and we left. Overnight the tire lost 20 pounds of air. My girlfriend called the next day to make them aware per my request and spoke to Aaron. I am appalled and extremely furious how Aaron took care of the situation. He was extremely rude to my girlfriend and completely unprofessional, stating "she was getting on his last nerve and had other things to move on and take care of", "if we don't want the truck to bring it back. Aaron also did not want to put in writing that we would be reimbursed for the tire fix that we just spent 35K on a truck with ZERO negotiation done by the dealer. I will not recommend a single person to this dealer, not only from the problem I immediately dealt with but because of the finance man. Upon speaking to some people in the Middletown area, this dealer does not have a good reputation - Had I known this, I would of never dealt with them. Very poor customer service especially the way my girlfriend was treated after try to get help fixing a vehicle we just bought less then 24 hours ago. More
