It was a rainy day...had been to hospital for some X-rays...decided to stop in dealership just to see what they had on the lot. We were greeted by a very friendly salesman named Mike Fulkerson, who came out in the pouring rain to greet us. He introduced himself and offered to go get us an umbrella, but we had one with us. I am a person who knows just what she is looking for and after I told him, Mike took me right to that vehicle I had just described to him. My first choice was a white 2013 Ford Escape and the second choice was a silver one. Mike had both colors, but my husband spoke up and said he liked the silver better. Now, Mike showed us what EVERY button was for and how it worked....this guy knows his business. He is a wonderful salesman and he went way above the call of duty to make sure we felt comfortable and informed about the vehicle we were planning to buy. Well, mind you, two very happy people drove off the lot in a 2013 Silver Ford Escape with a tank full of gas and happy smiles on our face. Would I go back for my next vehicle to Lenoir City Ford...you bet your bottom dollar we would! And we would demand that Mike Fulkerson be the salesman to trade with. To whom to it may concern. My wife and i recently were in the market for a new 2013 jeep. We had checked various dealers as well as web sites and news paper ads, all to no avail. We had stoped by Lenoir city ford and looked at a jeep there, but were not sold on it, for various reasons. It was not the right color, didn't have a hard top, it was 3 years old with a 6 inch lift kit on it. We left and shopped around even more, only to be disheartened, as we could not put together the right deal. To our delight, we were contacted by Mr. Mike Fulkerson from the Lenoir city ford dealership and he invited us down for a meet and greet. We were less than motivated to go back, as we had already seen all they had to offer, or thats what we thought. When we arrived Mr. Mike Fulkerson met us with a firm handshake and a friendly smile, that only someone who loves their job could do. You see, i can tell these little things, as i am in customer service also. We talked in depth and threw him what we thought was a right cross and explained our issues with his existing jeep on the lot. He then countered with a uppercut of his own and invited us to not only drive the jeep, but keep it for the whole weekend and then he threw his oun jab and filled up the tank $56.00 worth, remember that number, as it is key to this review. We said what the heck, a free jeep, full tank of gas and it's the weekend. We said lets ride and so we did.To our surprise, the weekend was over all to soon and we were back at the dealership. Mr Mike fulkerson greeted us in what i have come to know as his own inviting personality and we handed him the keys and were prepared to leave, when he asked us to sit with him and talk. My wife and i were already in agreement, that we were not buying this jeep period. Mr Mike Fulkerson then threw the knock out punch and closed the deal. To make a long story short, $33,000.00 later a 3 year old jeep that is not black and my wife and i have a huge smile on our faces, now that's a real salesman. He fed us, loved on us and then satisfied us, all while making us realize that we were buying the jeep that we really wanted. In closing, we believe that Lenoir city ford is very fortunate in having Mr. Mike Fulkerson as a member of theur staff and believe he is a huge asset to their team and we will never shop anywhere else. He is a great salesman, a good listener, but most importantly, a great human being. In closing, thank you Lenoir City Ford for the great service and don't let Mike slip through your fingers.
