Before stopping by lenoir city ford, I had tried 6 other dealerships. I was trying to trade in a car I owed too much on and was unable to find anyone that would even come close to trading...at least 2 other dealerships. I immediately turned around, dreading the whole process again, I walked in and had to ask for a salesman! Yes, ask! They didn't flock to my car before I even got out, I was allowed to actually walk inside. I had the pleasure of speaking with Keith Stroud, and it was as easy as you please. We drove the car and talked numbers quickly. Not the waiting I was used to. We had a small gap to close by the time I left and we agreed to talk that evening by phone as I was on a schedule. The deal was completed over the phone, no pressure and no outrageous addition to their asking price, since I was upside down in my current car. I came to Greg Curran, my salesman, looking for a vehicle that met a specific set of criteria. I was not looking for a specific make or model, but did have several specific requirements. I was looking for A LOT of vehicle for a very limited price. I honestly did not have much faith that I would find something within that price range, but because I was not in a hurry to purchase I wanted to "shoot for the stars" and see if I couldn't get a steal. My real plan was to search for that "steal" for a few weeks and then raise my price limit to a number that was more realistic. I have purchased several vehicles before so I expected that Greg would be like all the other salesmen I have dealt with at other dealerships, and find me a vehicle that was reasonably close to what I was looking for, but with a slightly higher asking price. I couldn't have been more wrong! Two days after telling Greg what I wanted, he not only found a vehicle with EVERYTHING I was looking for, but the bottom-line was thousands below my price limit. I had no idea it was possible to get this much truck for this little money! I am still amazed at how well Greg did finding me the perfect truck. I am also amazed he was able to do it in two days! On top of Greg's great service, the dealership (Lenoir City Ford) was awesome to deal with. I had never bought anything from them before, but have bought from other dealerships. The customer service from all of the employees is top-notch. I was also amazed at the perks that come along with buying a used vehicle from them, like the 90-day warranty (which is surprisingly extensive) and free oil changes & tire rotations for a year. I got zero perks from the other Ford dealerships I have bought used vehicles from. Living in Knoxville, there are numerous Ford dealerships that are closer to my location than Lenoir City Ford. However, after this experience, I will happily make the drive to Lenoir City for my next vehicle. I could not been more pleased! More
