BEWARE!!!!!!!! This was on out of state purchase. Considering the reputations of most Lexus dealerships you would assume ethical behavior. Wrong. There was misrepresentation of warranty in my opinion on my vehicle purchased as well as "we owes" not fulfilled, i.e., paint touch-ups, manuals. Almost one month later, and I do not have copies of my signed contract. Hence, I can not obtain a car tag within my state. I've been told the deal was lost or misplaced. Every story from A to Z. Was told that 3 salesmen were fired last week to it's in the mail. What a joke this dealership has turned out to be!!!!! More
I spoke with a finance officer at Len Stoler to find out what my financing options would be through the dealership. Without running my credit, and based on the info I provided to them via phone, I could exp what my financing options would be through the dealership. Without running my credit, and based on the info I provided to them via phone, I could expect to pay $700-$800 per month for a $28K vehicle at 7.5%-8.5% for 60 mos. Payment estimators online gave me estimates of $550-$580 with the same terms. To equal a payment of $800 per month, the interest would have to be at or over 20%! I opted to acquire my own financing through Capitol One. The next day, I arrived at Stoler Lexus with a blank check from Capitol One. I informed Steve, the used car salesman, that I was not interested in financing through the dealership when he offered. He inquired as to who the financing was through. I told him Capitol One and he stated that Stoler also finances through Capitol One and he may be able to get me a lower rate. Again, I declined. We select our vehicle and move on to the paperwork when I am asked to fill out a credit app despite already declining several times. I was told by Steve that they just needed my "info" for their records. I told Steve that they already have all of my "info" in my file in addition to in their computer system which he typed in only moments before. I stated again that I WOULD NOT be filling out the credit app or applying for credit through the dealership. Steve then leaves to speak with his manager, Dick. Steve returns shortly and asks to see my check. I give him the blank check and he left to speak to his manager again. The two return and inform me that they cannot accept my check and that I could fill out their credit app. I told Dick that Steve previously stated that the dealership finances through Capitol One and asked why would I need to re-apply through them if I am already approved and have a check in hand. They are speechless for and then mutter something to the effect of not accepting indirect financing. With that, I retrieved my check and promptly left the dealership aggravated at all of the time I had just wasted. I got home and called several dealers, ALL of which stated over the phone that they would accept the check with no problems. Interesting. Feeling that I was lied to by the folks at Stoler, I called and spoke with the GM, Steve Daniel, of the Westminster location. I asked if his dealership would accept a check from a credit union. He said yes. I then told him of my experience earlier that day. He began checking his inventory to see if he had a car in stock that I was looking for. I told him that the check I would be paying with was Capitol One and he stated it wasn’t the same as a credit union check but would work with me. I was then offered financing through the dealership AGAIN. I told him I had no interest in doing so as dealers usually charge a LOT higher interest and monthly payments than finding your own financing (he was not aware that I received a financing quote from the Owings Mills Stoler). He then stated, let's be blunt and asked what was my current interest rate on the financing I had. I told him that I would not reveal that information to which he RUDELY told me that the conversation was over and abruptly hung up on me. I have never dealt with anyone so rude and disrespectful. I recommend that anyone purchasing a car and not using financing through LEN STOLER, not waste their time by visiting their dealership. I did not expect such nasty treatment from the GENERAL MANAGER of all people. This dealership and all of its locations are obviously looking to take advantage of customers anyway they can by forcing them into their outrageous financing. If you do not fall for their tactics and decline their inflated financing rates and payments, rest assured they will find a ridiculous reason to NOT sell you their vehicle. No other dealer I spoke with stated they would turn down the check. Stoler not only lost a sale, but future customers also. Don’t go to Len Stoler. More
Drove by the new Lexus dealer in Towson the other day in hopes of finding an alternative to Len Stoler in Owings Mills, only to find that they were owned by Len Stoler! I have to wonder why they don't use hopes of finding an alternative to Len Stoler in Owings Mills, only to find that they were owned by Len Stoler! I have to wonder why they don't use the Len Stoler name outside though - too much bad publicity?

I went to Len Stoler Lexus to purchase my IS300 and the salesperson was a complete moron and very unprofessional. I ended up finding out everything I wanted to know and purchased the car from Lexus of Silver Spring. I would not recommend this dealer. More
I bought my RX300 from this dealer new and have had service problems on several occasions. The prblems include the misdiagnosis of a problem, not completing work as promised, not standing behind their service problems on several occasions. The prblems include the misdiagnosis of a problem, not completing work as promised, not standing behind their work and playing games with the prices for repairs. I have no choice but to use them because of the location but I view all my dealings with them with suspicion. Because of my experience and the lack of other Lexus dealers in my area it is unlikely that I will purchase a Lexus in the future. Its a shame becasue I like the car. More
