purchased a traverse I puchased a 2016 traverse today from Leman Chevy City. Kevin "Gator" Burtin was my salesman, he was very knowledgeable on the vehicle that I chose. Shady I was shown the wrong vehicle I thought I was purchasing. When I went to sign the paperwork the car was in back and so I signed the papers without see I was shown the wrong vehicle I thought I was purchasing. When I went to sign the paperwork the car was in back and so I signed the papers without seeing it. I was not told of an issue until I was given the keys that there was an issue with one of the seats. Si was told it was an easy fix. When I took it to be fixed I was informed the seat was broken and it would cost 750 dollars. They are refusing to fix it now. Lesson learned that they wanted to get rid of a broken one and switched at the last moment. I loved the finance department. They were great to work with. They are the only reason I gave them two stars. More
Great experience!! We didn't make it to the dealership until after 5 (5:30) on a Saturday. But there were still a couple sales guys there n George (Vanos) helped us out. I had been hunting for a very specific truck and found it that night. George stayed late, as well as the Manager, and I bought my first brand new truck. Great service and very competitive pricing! Excellent Experience We are very happy with our purchase from Leman Chevy City Bloomington from start to finish. We had originally walked in to test drive a new 2014 Equ We are very happy with our purchase from Leman Chevy City Bloomington from start to finish. We had originally walked in to test drive a new 2014 Equinox but we found a gem of vehicle among their used vehicles. We purchased a used 2013 Chrysler Town and Country touring with all the bells and whistles. Very happy with the negotiated price and the service after the sale. There was no high pressure tactics used in the Finance room as I had experienced in previous buying experiences. Worked with the dealer to secure our loan which we were already approved for. Somehow the headphones and remote for the built in DVD system were not in the vehicle when it was delivered. The ad for the vehicle clearly listed these as included. The sales manager made good on his promise to make it right and we got our missing items replaced by the following Tuesday. Also Jarrod the salesman made sure that we had gas in the tank before heading out. I would recommend them for new or used vehicles. More
I have to get my car serviced here as part of my warranty. I purchased it at another dealership and believe me I am just as frustrated with them. There have been several safety issues with my vehicle, and when you look up my vehicle you can see that MANY other people have had similar issues, however when I brought in for service here they would often question me, or act as though they haven't heard of any problems....even though REPEATEDLY there would be more and more problems. I brought the car in way too many times to be serviced, for a brand new car, and this never was strange to them. Apparently it is normal to have a new chevy and need a lot of service calls for it. I expected a lot more out of a new car, the dealership, my warranty, and the service. Never again will I purchase a chevy. They are unreliable, have poor safety ratings, and they don't have a really strong business ethic. I want a car from a company that creates a good product and stands behind it. I am willing to pay more for quality service, and something that will last over time. Chevy doesn't make cars like this anymore. More

However, this experience has been the worst overall experience we have ever had in our car buying process and we felt it was necessary to let others know. I would never ever go to this dealership and would advise anyone else against going here as well. We contacted the company when we found a vehicle we were interested in on their website. We were given a trade value amount over the phone. We also asked if the vehicle would be certified and we were told it could be if we wanted at an extra cost. However, to our surprise they went ahead and certified the vehicle and kept the original list price on their website. When we pointed out the difference between the price that we were given for the vehicle including certification and the list price on the website our sales rep admitted the company had made a mistake. However, they decided not to make up for the difference and were still trying to calculate our total out the door price based upon a higher starting price than what they were advertising. When our sales rep went to his general manager, Benji L, he refused to budge on the price and base our costs at the advertised price. At this point our sales rep gave us Benji’s contact info and said we would have to discuss the company error and faulty advertised price personally with him. Upon contact with Benji things were made much worse primarily due to the lack in customer service skills or the ability to be reasonable or cordial to customers. Benji told us that there wasn’t an error and if we were going to be upset by this he did not want to sell us the car anyway. He also stated that he could go ahead and sell to us at the lower price but due to market fluctuation our trade value had now went down. We did not feel that being given the advertised price and then having our trade in value lowered to make up for it was honoring the correct price. As any knowledgeable car salesman or manager should know according to KBB the value of an estimated trade in is valid for one week. This whole process occurred within one week and there should have been no fluctuation in that time period. To us this came out as a prime example of false advertisement. We were not asking for anything extreme, only that our trade in value that we were given originally and the out the door price be based on the advertised certified price listed on their website. We even told both our salesman and Benji that we would have gladly purchased the vehicle at the higher price if that were what they had advertised on the website, but they did not. However, with the way that we were treated by Benji Leman there is no way that we would ever consider purchasing a vehicle from this dealership and only want that it be made aware that customers can simply not be treated like this.
