Before the first service interval, the vehicle has had a major electrical failure that has left it almost inoperable. Over the last week, the electric ignition has failed to start the vehicle several times and left my wife and kids stranded, with the kicker being the electric locks failing to work,leaving a baby stuck in the car. All this being said, the earliest service appointment I could get was a week out. At this point the vehicle is unsafe at best, so I decided to take it to Leith Honda in hopes of getting worked in sooner and getting a loaner vehicle. Being a brand new vehicle, I assumed it was the least that could be done. Long story short, Leith Honda refused to help in any way, both service and sales departments. I was told the best I could do was bring it back in another four days and a determination could be made on a rental vehicle then. So my family is left with an inoperable vehicle on labor day weekend, with Leith refusing to help in any way. Save yourself a lot of trouble and shop elsewhere. This is without a doubt my last Honda and the last time I ever buy at any Leith dealership. As soon as this xxx is fixed, I'll be trading it in for a reliable vehicle at a dealership that values its customers. More
Service Department is Mediocre at Best I took my car in for service and when the keys to my car were returned to me they were broken into two pieces. I immediately asked for the key to either be fixed or replaced. I was told that it couldn’t be fixed and that there was no one available to replace it. This was Thursday. I was told to come back Monday, while you were still going to be open on Friday and Saturday. My husband returned with the key on Tuesday and he was then adviced that the car needed to be there as well. That was the first time we were told that. I just came back to get the new key on Saturday, to be told that I have to wait at least an hour to have re-keyed. The level of customer service that I’ve experienced is mediocre at best. I was not at fault and was treated as such. This incident has definitely tainted our willingness to conduct business with Leith Honda of Raleigh. More

They don’t stand by their warranty DO NOT buy a car here. Their service department is AWFUL. They do not follow there warranties that they offer. They sold me a car with a bad alternato DO NOT buy a car here. Their service department is AWFUL. They do not follow there warranties that they offer. They sold me a car with a bad alternator that has killed 2 batteries in 3 years and they are refusing to cover the battery that the alternator killed. They will cover the alternator but not the battery that died because of a bad alternator. I have been telling them of this problem for over a year and they said nothing they can do and never checked anything and finally when I got it to happen on video they said they can’t cover it because it’s after the warranty is up and they won’t cover the 2nd battery that died because of the bad alternator because the 1st battery was covered under warranty so the 2nd battery has no warranty. Bull crap. Will NEVER do business with Leith Honda AGAIN and will not recommend them to anyone. They replaced my first battery that was covered under warranty but won’t cover the second one because the bad alternator they put in my car killed it. More
Charged for repairs that were not done I've been coming here to service all our cars for years and brought in my car to replace a tire and take care of rattling noises last week. The rep, Nick Barone, quoted me for work that would take care of the noises. I agreed, they did something?!, I paid just under $1600 for all work, noises didn't go away. Nick called me and left a VM to bring car back in and they'll take care of it as the repairs I paid for should have taken care of the noises, I bring car back in this morning and the shop manager, David Rolow, wants to charge me for other repairs that are causing the noises claiming he will only charge me for parts, not labor. Nick is standing with David and I and agreeing with me and I reiterate that when I spoke with Nick on the phone before agreeing to the repairs, he assured me that the repairs he was recommending would take care of all the noises. David doesn't care and walks off when I tell him I don't want to pay anything extra on top of what they've already charged me for what should have been a complete repair. What a rip off. Losing all my business, family and friends and disputing my CC charges for not receiving services I paid for. More

I contacted the dealership via chat to get a simple quote for a simple job - replacing front brake pads on my 2012 Honda Civic. I was told they do not have the pricing available (really, for such a standard procedure???), but someone will contact me with the price. I gave my phone number and asked send me a text with the quote. They wanted more details like email address, last name, etc. Obviously, to get me on the mailing list and push me some offers. I said "no, just quote me the service, please". Sure Sir, no problem. That was one week ago. No one texted me. I get it, they hire a call center to handle this kind of inquiries, but aren't they supposed to review the quality of their work? Or do they hire chat agents only to generate potential leads? If the latter, this kind of support actually makes me less likely to contact this dealership again in a future. Unfortunately, the story repeated itself exactly when I tried to contact another dealership's Service department via chat (will post identical review there as well). Guess, they use the same service, where agents either don't give a xxxx or were not properly trained. Which is sad. Guess, I will use the dealership that advertises its prices online. More

Safety Recall Campaign After recall work was completed, the SEL/RESET button no longer was functioning. Was told by service advisor that problem was not caused by Leith and that the only remedy would be to replace the entire dash board system ( at my expense ). He did not offer to do any further investigation, which might have included a loose wire connection after the initial service or possible blown fuse, nothing at all! After placing several calls to the service manager's listed numbers on Leith's website and receiving no call backs have contacted Honda North America, maybe they will respond. More
