Lehigh Valley Hyundai has an amazing service department. I had my new 2011 Sonata, that I purchased at LVH, in for the recall service last week, and my 2007 Elantra in for Service/Tires/Brakes this week, an I had my new 2011 Sonata, that I purchased at LVH, in for the recall service last week, and my 2007 Elantra in for Service/Tires/Brakes this week, and both time we had great experiences. My husband and I needed to get me a car right after our wedding because my hand-me-down Taurus had finally bit the dust. As young newlyweds we had never had the experience of buying a car and I have to say I was dreading every minute of dealing with the dealerships. My sister, who is older and has been through this experience a few times, took us to our first stop at Lehigh Valley Hyundai. I didn't really want a Hyundai, I had another make/model in mind, but at this point we were just shopping around. My sister stepped out of her car to check the price of one that caught my eye with the intention of avoiding contact with a salesman. Next thing I knew there was a salesman approaching and I immediatly felt sick to my stomach, but all that fear was unwarrented. His name was Craig he was a newer employee and younger than most other salesmen. He was very honest, friendly, and understanding of the fear I had in buying my first car. He showed us a few models, never going out of our price range and immediatly giving up on ones that I had told him I didn't like. After checking out 5 or 6 cars, taking note of what I liked and disliked about each, we finally found one that had everything I was looking for. A test drive and a signature later I had purchased my first car with no hassle, no haggling, and no unnecessary extended warranties or price increases. The business manager, who was also very friendly and very honest though I cannot remember his name, explained only two options that we might be interested (even though he had a book of about 15 warrenty options) both of which were recommended and explained thoroughly. He made no attempt make us feel obligated to get either option and he even left the room while my husband and I discussed whether we felt we needed them. The entire experience left me so happy that I don't believe I will ever buy a car from any other dealership. More
We are former residents of Pa now living in NC. We scheduled to have our '11 sonata serviced while visiting family over the Thanksgiving holiday. Dealing with Jason was a great experience across the board. He was easily reachable via phone, text, or email. He was respectful and attentive to what I was looking for. Justin was great to deal with. I have purchased all but one of my Honda's from Lehigh Valley Honda and since Lehigh Valley Hyundai is affiliated with them, you can't go wrong. The service techs always call you to offer their advice and you always get a call back a few days later to make sure the service was good or bad. Anyway Justin my salesman was fantastic and answered all of my questions and did not pressure me. I went to another dealership looking at a honda civic hybrid and liked their car, but, the salesman was not friendly. I told Justin that and the main reason I came back to your dealership. More
I always take my 2005 Hyundai Sonata to Lehigh Valley Hyundai for service because they have always taken such good care of the car and are very helpful to me. I called in a few weeks ago and spoke with Bill in service. I had explained to him that the sunvisor on my driver side had broke. The plastic piece on the bar had just snapped. He was excellent on the phone, scheduled me right away for Friday Morning. He also was able to get this done as warranty work for me as my car had just gone over the warranty miles. I was in the door with my car at 7:00am and at work all the way in Bethlehem by 8:15. Great service and great people. Bill even walked my keys over to me while I was sitting in the waiting room to greet me personally. I will definitely come back to buy another Sonata from this dealership when the time comes. More
The service on the car was performed very well. Everything was addressed. The communication to the customer, though, was not so good. They performed the work scheduled OK. The problem is that the bill ended up over $200. more. When I looked at the bill, they had performed a radiator service, and an auto trans. fuild change. This was not part of the scheduled tasks. When I called Victor about it, he said that he informed my Wife. My wife says that he said nothing about the radiator or the trans. She was told everything else--new tires, new cat. converter, and all new brakes. Nothing about the radiator or the trans. When asked by me, Victor said it was part of a 30,000 mile service. THAT'S OK. If the car needed it,then I have no problem about having it done. It just should have been communicated better. Thanks for listening Ronald F. Scalingi PS. I have had issues with Victor in the past. I have had this car serviced from new with you, and have NEVER had an issue with the other service manager that was there. NEVER. I travel 20 minutes to have you service my car. I could get it done right in my own town of Phillipsburg, but I trusted your service center. More
