He was able to locate a used transmission with only 2 miles on it which provided a good replacement at lower cost than new, but still with a good warranty. They replaced the transmission that day. As it turned out, I brought my car in the morning one day and took it back home the following day. It operates just fine - almost like a new car. This is my fourth Camry. I bought my first one from this dealer in 1985 and my fourth one in 2007. I will probably buy my next one here as well. I put about 250,000 miles on my first two Camrys before they are put to pasture. I had passed them on to my two daughters to drive. My third Camry (2002) was T-boned and totaled in 2007 - but I walked away without a scratch. I have put over 104,000 miles on my fourth Camry in 2.5 years and I am very happy with it. I plan to drive it for 2-3 more years before I hand it off to my granddaughter. More
