Maureen, We have been in constant contact and as I was personally unable to assist you immediately I have let you know that the matter has not been overlooked. Of course your feelings are valid, and I'm sure that I would feel the same way if it was my own personal situation, but as a matter of procedure, we never promise that anything can or will be done. We do often have success getting fees discounted and monies good willed from VCI but sometimes it is out of our hands. I work here and still had to pay over $2000 for my over mileage. I have contacted a VCI rep on your behalf to see what can be done to rectify this issue. On behalf of us all at Legend we are sorry for any aggravation this has caused you especially since you have been recovering from major surgery. We are trying very hard to see what can be done. Unfortunately that is not solving the problem that months ago I was promised by Alan that it would be done and that is the only reason why I signed up for a new lease. He did not do that. He knew I was undergoing surgery and promised me it would be taken care of and not to worry if I signed the new lease. I signed the new lease and because it wasn't done, and it was in my brother's name, I had to call them myself and pay the full amount, so that he did not have his credit rating effected negatively. All I was asking for is $1200 which is less than Alan had promised me he could get absorbed. Since my initial call, nothing has been done. After my initial email to you directly, all you have done is tell me each time that you will see if there is anything you can do... That is not good enough! Alan knows as well as the sales manager what was promised. He didn't do it. I do not have the physical energy to keep writing you emails about this. Now you want me to scan you over information. All you have to do is ask Alan and do the right thing and mail me a check for $1200. That is the right thing to do. I am done emailing. I don't have the strength or time to deal with this anymore. If you choose to do the right thing mail me the $1200 check, which you would have been paying more if I had the time for Alan to do what he said he would do before signing up for another lease. If you don't mail the check, then I stand behind my disappointment in your dealership. Again, I am done complaining, emailing, talking about an issue that should have been done months ago. Lastly, you took advantage of someone who was going to have surgery and knew I would be laid up and coudn't do anything about following up on this issue and just trusted you...Shame on Alan. I will also never make that mistake again. I learned a valuable lesson about the car industry...a very sad one. Please do not contact me again asking me to do Alan's work that should have been done months ago. I am done with this issue and will just wait and see how you handle it. The high road or not. A "newer" and "safer" car will certainly NOT be a VW from your shop, that's for sure! Re-building the transmission and changing major parts, such as a new power steering pump, is a major invasive service to the car, which likely (I'm almost certain) the cause for the car going up in flames. A short test drive is no direct proof that everything is fine. It can take a few trips and a little more driving to really be certain, as was the case with my car serviced by your shop, driven only for less than 1 hour after picked up at your shop (drive home that evening + next morning). It's one thing if the car had a tire changed and a short while later the car ran over a nail and the tire went flat. That happens. But THIS is much different. No way can or should this happen and most likely NOT a coincedence. Something went wrong at your shop with the service/parts and the consequences could have been disasterous for me and my family. Legal action will be sought for this.

Actually I am still not fully refunded and I plan on modifying my review to reflect this. They are only willing to refund me the cost of the brake job and not the wipers I purchased. I am not accepting the partial refund of $60 that you guys offered. I am still out $117 total. You guys installed the wipers incorrectly cauing me to have to make a return trip to the dealer and taking an additional day off from work. I have video of the wiper blade smacking against the windshield trim that I plan on uploading as part of the review. This is the type of work you guys do. And I am absolutely appauled that not only can you guys attempt to charge me for brakes that have an applicable TSB out, you guys install the same garbage brakes that the TSB warns against (which is why they were still squeaking after the fact)! You can tell Scott that I hope the $40 he refused to refund me for the wipers that his techs incorrectly installed is worth all of the negative PR i am about to dish out to you guys. I am just getting started. I am going to be emailing some high executives at Audi headquarters in Washington DC tomorrow. And i'll get my $117 back as part of the credit card disputes I plan on filing so i'm not even concerned. So I hope the merchant account that you do your CC transactions with doesn't mind a few disputes coming in. I know if you get too many disputes you get penalized.

Again, I am sorry that you are so upset. I cannot tell you not to post negative reviews or even to contact Audi higher ups, but as far as I have been told you will be reimbursed for the brake work expense and for the wiper blades. It appears that these were the correct blades for your vehicle, so where the error was is a mystery. I do appreciate you bringing your frustrations to our attention and I can assure you that it has not gone unnoticed and we are fixing the issue the best and most expeditious way possible.
