Dear Mikeany.... I have reviewed your post for both Legend Audi and Anchor Audi and it seems as if you certainly did not get the experience that you were looking for and for that I apologize. I am the sales manager here at Legend and if I had a salesperson contact you it was just to ensure that your inquiry was followed up on and did not get buried in the mounds of paperwork that needs to be completed by me on a daily basis. I am sorry that I did not follow up with you directly and I will question my ENTIRE sales staff as to what your post claims. It is NOT a practice of the dealership to play the games that you are implicating and I am shocked that ANY of my salespeople would resort to such tactics. I can assure you that it most certainly was NOT myself that "made the mistake" and I am not a clown at all! I take my job seriously and I respond to all situations that are brought to my attention. As a sales trainer I am sure you know that not all of the information shared between a client and a salesperson are always brought to the attention of the management. If i had known about your issue I am sure that I could have taken care of it amicably. Being as the facts that you decribed do not set off any bells and sirens as to your identity, I would invite you to call me directly at (631)691-7700 Ext 313 so that I can at least give you the courtesy of airing your viewpoint directly to me as well as have the opportunity to fix a componet of my business that may be broken. As my years of experience has taught me, you can only fix something once you know it does not work, only an idiot would not take the time to address the concerns of a client that has visited my showroom and resulted in not only a lost sale but furthermore a blemish of my reputation. I would respectfully ask that you give me a call and if you are satisfied with our conversation I would also ask that we look at this from a different perspective and possibly remove the poor comments that were posted. I leave you with this... as a sales trainer I am sure that it is in your DNA to utilize this as a teaching moment. I can tell from the majority of positive reviews that my experience must have been an anomaly and the very fact that you would respond so soon, and so passionately, convinces me that you run a quality organization. As such, I will be happy to contact you and share my experience for quality improvement as well as to delete my review. Please understand I am not a difficult customer; in fact as a salesman myself, I like to see other salespeople succeed and make money. As such I find it frustrating when I cut through the posturing and offer a fellow colleague a sure thing only to see them blow it.
