They tried to lowball my trade in. It resulted in me having to do a lot of extra steps back and forth to Carmax to get the full value of my vehicle. They will not negotiate sticker prices even if you offer to pay cash. When I brought this behavior to Matt's attention he pulled the "poor me, this hurts my feelings" act. It is a stereotypical "used car salesmen experience" where you can tell these guys know very little about their vehicles or trade in values, or they play dumb to con you. I feel the relationship and experience was very adversarial. I have been to good used car lots where the salesman are knowledgable and will adjust the price of the car and the trade in so you can pay the least in registration. If I could have found what I was looking for at Outlet4Cars in Rio Linda I would have purchased from their instead. More
