I had a car getting serviced while buying the Pathfinder and it took three days to complete. He offered and gave me two rental vehicles (one was in fact the Pathfinder I bought afterwards) to help us through the course of the service days while trying to buy the Pathfinder. Overall, he was outstanding and will recommend him and his team to have vehicles bought from in the future. Benny Sledge is typically the employee who I check in with when I have maintenance due. He is fast at checking cars in, professional, and great to work with. Joel Rainer was the go-to finance man. We were I and out in a hurry. It was very simple to buy the vehicle there with a trade-in. Although we barely had "time together", Joel showed great customer service skills and had all paperwork laid out and explained to. Are the car buying experience even more easier than it already was. Lee Nissan, by far, is the best car dealership I have ever dealt with and will continue to equestrian friends to buy their vehicles from the Lee Nissan team! P.S. Just to clarify, I was only supposed to get car maintenance done. After talking to Mike, by the time we got my car serviced, we were walking away with the Pathfinder added to our Nissan family! More

If you, the owner, have someone other than you, the owner, deliver your vehicle to this service department, they, the driver, can authorize repairs done to your vehicle without the service department calling you, the owner, to ensure that you authorize work be done. A particular situation that happened the other day-a young, female, airmen had a friend deliver her vehicle for an oil change. The service department suggested, to the driver who brought the vehicle in for an oil change, that a 105K check-up ought to be done. Because the driver stated he was the "boyfriend" of the owner the service department took him at his word without verifying with the owner that he is who he said he was. Never did the service department verify with the owner that she was allowing the driver to authorize work done on her behalf. Once the owner found out that work, that she never requested or authorized, she made an attempt to stop the work, but the service department put her on hold for a lengthy period of time, at which time she was no longer available to speak to anyone. Instead of the service department putting the vehicle on hold until they had the opportunity to speak with the actual owner, they continued with the work until the owner, without her knowledge, a $600+ bill when all she was wanting was a simple oil change. Even though the owner never authorized repairs, other than the oil change, be done, she was responsible for a bill if she wanted her vehicle back. This is extortion. My message is-know the law; know the statutes repair shops have to follow. The Florida Department of Agriculture & Consumer Services states that the OWNER has to authorize repairs either verbally or written. The owner never spoke with the service department while they performed repairs and never authorized repairs be done, but went off the word of the non-owner. The Florida Deceptive & Unfair Trade Practices Act-in this case, the service took advantage of a situation in which they, the service department, knew they would have difficulty in reaching the owner so they went through the driver receiving authorization through him. The service department never verified with the owner who the driver actually was. Also, the owner, due to the service department not able to contact her, tried to stop the work by calling the dealership, but was placed on hold for a lengthy amount of time, had to hang up due to participating in mandatory military instruction. They never talked with the owner to give her the opportunity to stop the work before it was done, but went ahead and completed the work and then expected her to pay for the repairs even though she had no idea what alleged repairs were done. Then I, the parent of said owner, called to rectify the situation, bringing to light the rights of the owner that were violated - the right to say "yes" or "no." By my third call, wanting to get to the bottom of the situation, "Jerome" the service manager, when told which Florida departments complaint claims will be filed became irate, became belligerent, attacked my integrity and self-worth as a person all because I was standing up for the rights of the owner; a dealership that took advantage of a customer. I really liked a Frontier that was sitting there. The receptionist was nice and found a great sales professional (Keith) who took his time, answered all my questions honestly and never made me feel pressured in the process. I ended up purchasing the truck that day. It was missing the floor mats and Keith hand delivered and installed them a couple of days later. Excellent service and I would send anyone interested in buying a Nissan to Keith Travis without hesitation. More
