My wife had her 1999 Protege serviced here for $1050.00. The next day oil was pouring out of the engine. She called the dealership to have it towed. They told her they couldn't do anything until it was in the shop. They would not help her. She got it to the shop and they admitted it was a part they installed which failed. They took her to a Budget rental agency in Bellevue, WA and left her there to get the car they would pay for. The agent told her they couldn't rent a car for her because she was with Lee Johnson Kirkland because his supervisor instructed him not to rent any more vehicles to that dealership. Evidently Lee Johnson was not returning paper work in a timely fashion. She had the dealership pick her up. They were going to loan her a vehicle even the agent said was the car of last resort. My wife knew better than take a car that might be unsafe. I picked up her car the next day. I explained to the service manager, Phil, that we hoped they would take into consideration that their repair job had cost my wife 3 business appointments and lost sales. I encouraged them to consider compensating my wife for the costs incurred in her business due to the broken car and compounded by taking her to a rental agency who would not rent a car to her. Phil refused. He said parts break and he owed us nothing. He said we had the right to take our business elsewhere. I wonder what the owner of the business feels knowing that one of his employees is advising to take their business elsewhere rather than attempting to keep the business. I did not yell or use bad language but the way we were treated is a warning to others. Do not purchase or service your vehicle at Lee Johnson of Kirkland. They consider it your problem if they fail to fix your car properly and it costs you lost business, money and time. More

Two saturday's ago I was out running errands with my brother. He wanted to stop and see some cars so we did. We stopped at a few other dealerships before getting to Lee Johnson and I have to be honest w brother. He wanted to stop and see some cars so we did. We stopped at a few other dealerships before getting to Lee Johnson and I have to be honest we didn't even get a salesmen to say hi at the other dealerships (maybe they knew we weren't really interested). Our last stop was a Lee Johnson's Chevy/Mazda dealer so my brother could ogle the new Camaro. Within 5 minutes of checking them out Eugene came out. We chatted for a bit and and I told him I'd always had my eye on a Mazdaspeed 3. Fast, handles well, 4 doors, something that if my wife got pregnant i would not have to trade in. I also mocked the newer "smily" face model and Eugene said he had just the car for me. We walk down to the used car lot and there sits a 2008 Speed3 in black Mica (beautiful colour), Eugene takes my info down, hands me the keys and tell me how he hates to sit in the back seat and for me and my brother to have fun but stay out of trouble and he'd see me in 15 minutes or so when I got back. After a nice test drive we get back and talk price. I'd already known the KBB value on the car (like i said, I've had my eye on this model for some time now) and got them down to a price i was happy with. I called the wife and she told me she wanted to see the car before we purchased it. I tell this to Eugene and he went to talk to his manager. He came back a proposal "that we never" do according to him. I was quite skeptical as I'm sure "we never do this" is really here's a good deal that we'll give to anyone about to walk out. Eugene gives me an even lower price, and tells me if i finish the paperwork i can take the car our for 24hours to show it off to the wife. If she, or I did not like it for any reason we could return it no questions asked and owe nothing. Rob Zemke took care of all the financing and 24hr paperwork. He was great to deal with, was very thorough and explained everything matter of factly, warranty, clear bra, etc. He showed all the price points, how they would affect the total cost of the car and monthly payment and said I could decide on sunday if I wanted to keep the car. He even introduced me to John, who was the other finance guy who had been working for Lee Johnson for 29 years as I would be talking to him the next day. So I did, took it home that night, drove it around with the wife and let her take it to work the next morning. When she got back we went around lake sammamish and by the time we got back to the dealer we were both sold. Finished all the paperwork with John and got the clear bra and 5 year warrenty and was good to go. Rob would call me Monday or Tuesday to set up an appointment to drop off my car so I can get the clear bra installed and get a loaner. When Rob called me a couple days later it wasn't to set up an appointment but was to tell me he found me a LOWER interest rate. That's right, he saved me money, what dealer or finance guy does this? So I went back in, signed new paperwork and made an appointment for Monday (today)to get the clear bra installed. Dropped it off this morning, got a loaner (sadly its an autotrajic but hey at least it have wheels) and could not be happier with the service I've gotten so far. I hope any future dealings with the service department goes half as great as the sales staff does things and I'll be a returning customer for years to come. More
We had the absolute best experience buying our new Mazda CX-9! After the paperwork was complete Pete took us and went over the features on the car to make sure we understood how to use everything and he never rushed us. We also purchased some options that needed to be installed on the vehicle and Pete immediately got ahold of the Service Dept. and got us scheduled for the next morning and when we got there a loaner car was waiting for us. Everything was completed exactly as requested and on time. Things couldn't have gone any better with our purchase- it was definitely the best experience we've ever had buying a car and we would HIGHLY recommend Lee Johnson Mazda and be sure to ask for Pete in the internet department as he will take excellent care of you! I stopped by the dealer to look at a Mazda CX9. I tried it at the Seattle Car Show, and although the reviews were positive, I found I didn't fit. Jeff Strausbaugh met me at the door, listened to my description of what happened, what my plans and expectations were for the day, and proceeded to show me a CX9. I had told him I was not in the market at the time, would be in a few months, was planning on buying used, and wanted AWD. I also said my wife was skeptical about the car. After showing me the car, he let me take it for a long test drive to show to my wife. When I returned, Jeff informed me of some low financing rates Mazda had on used cars, and also offered a price on the car for me to think about. I'd done no pricing research at that point. I thanked him and left. I proceeded to do research on the car, the price, and the primary competitor (Honda). The Mazda was a better equipped car for the price, and after trying both, my wife and I decided on the Mazda. Jeff worked with me on the deal remotely, so I didn't need to spend the day at the dealer. Once the deal was final, I came in and worked with John Dempster on the financing and final details. John was clear, patient, and informative as well. Once I picked up the car, I was going to add Chipprotect (or something like that, a 3M product), but through a miscommunication some other treatment was done. John worked out an arrangement where I didn't need to pay for the treatment, but would not get the warranty. I'm fine with that as I didn't want the product to begin with. The dealer then applied the correct product, at the price arranged. Everyone has been efficient, informative, and respectful. I don't buy cars very often, so I'm not comfortable with the thought of the process, and there was no anxiety with the actual purchase this time. Overall, this was the best experience I've had yet. More

Not only was he knowledgeable about my Mazda 3 that I purchased, but very patient with explaining all aspects of the vehicle; but mostly his customer service and attention was phenominal-I didn't feel like just another sale-he cared that I bought the right car and took the time to make sure I was happy. I was in the market for a new or used Mazda 3, I am a 20 year old college student and this was the first car that I have bought. To get information about all of the dealerships and the cars available I sent out an email to all of the Mazda dealerships around me. Out of the 6 different people I emailed, Pete was by far the most friendly and helpful. He gave me all of the information that I was looking for and was never pushy about me coming in to look at the cars. When I did come in to the dealership he showed me the cars and gave me his opinion on what was best for me at my age and income. He was never trying to get a huge sale out of me or just looking at the sale, he was out for my best interest and was extremely helpful. When I purchased the car I then was turned to Rob who helped me with deciding what kind of warranty I wanted for my new car. He showed me all of the options but was never pushing me toward the most expensive, he understood that I did not want a large monthly payment and even suggested one of the lower options for me so that I could keep my payment down and still have the best coverage possible. They both were very helpful and even kept in contact with me after the purchase to see how I was liking the car and how everything was going. They both really made me feel comfortable and secure with my purchase. I will be going back for any car purchases in the future because I have full trust in them. I would recommend Lee Johnson Mazda to anyone in the market for a new or used Mazda.
