We came to Lawrence Kia on a Saturday, around 4:30 pm and Rob was very helpful for us. He talked with us about the car we were looking at. Rob even called a couple days later for us to come in so he could explain and show us all the options on the car so that we were fully satisfied with our purchase. These men also stayed late Saturday night to finish up everything we had to do for buying a vehicle. They were never pushy or hurrying us to make a decision even though it was closing time for the store. Overall we were very satisfied with our service. More
Walked into Lawrence Kia based on Radio commercials after visiting dealers in Topeka and Lawrence. After trying (I said trying) to work with the ma and pa "dealers for the people" I was happy to work with f visiting dealers in Topeka and Lawrence. After trying (I said trying) to work with the ma and pa "dealers for the people" I was happy to work with folks that wanted to treat me like a half way intelligent person. Daniel Benedict met me at the door and helped walk me thru what I wanted and what Lawrence Kia offered. Daniel did not push me one way or another, he was able to lead the conversation in a manner that focused on my needs and wants. The financing was painless as well. The car I ended up purchasing fit my families needs. Financing was better than we thought we would get. I would highly suggest this dealer and salesperson to customers of all car buying experience levels. Including new buyers, less confident buyers and credit issue orientated shoppers as well. Do not get trapped by the feeling that you have to go to the gaurenteed financing places that charge high fees to finance and higher prices for the cars. More

Slow to follow up via e-mail. Cars on site not necessarily on the lot (evidently the cars are not "sold" or "for sale," there is a third category that was explained as such: if someone puts down a necessarily on the lot (evidently the cars are not "sold" or "for sale," there is a third category that was explained as such: if someone puts down a deposit, the car is not removed from the website--although described as sold in the fourth e-mail inquiry from this potential customer.) Why not take the car off the website and the REPOST if the "sale" falls through? Car price seemed suspiciously low; possibly a draw to get customers on the lot and "bait and switch?" I don't know if that is the case, but it fits with my experience. More
Everyone in our family needed to replace their vehicles. Finding the make of car we wanted was easy, we have ownwd 5 Kia's. Finding a car dealership was not, after alot researching we picked Shawnee Mission Kia of Lawrence based on their customer ratings & reviews. We also picked our salesperson , Bill Munsell, before even going to the dealership. He was picked because in he reviews & ratings he was described as " not pushy & laid back". In one afternoon we traded & purchased 2 cars,one for myself & one for my husband. Bill made the whole process go easy, he explained everything & answered every question. Kevin Carder handled the " finanical paperwork". He too was very good at explaining everything & answered every question. A day later we talked to Bill about seeing if we could get a deal going for our daughter. Her trade in & purchase of a vehicle would not be an easy one because of some finanical & credit issues in the past. Bill said come on in & let's see what we can do. After much HARD work with Bill & Sterling Smith , they got our daughter into a very nice used car. Every step of the way both Bill & Sterling never gave up & she is now on her way to build credit in her name. Begi Dzafarova handled the "finanical paperwork" and she was great in explaing everything. Our family would like to thank Bill, Sterling, Kevin & Begi for your hard work & great service. My experience at Lawrence Kia was superb! I first encountered Bill one Saturday afternoon and my mom and I were just out and about and I thought it would be a good idea to go look at cars! I knew I w encountered Bill one Saturday afternoon and my mom and I were just out and about and I thought it would be a good idea to go look at cars! I knew I wanted a new car, but not that day, sometime in the future. Bill welcomed us outside and he showed me the Kia Soul which I really liked. I was not going to buy a car that day, because I had only just begun my car search. We talked about financing and what they had available, but he did not pressure us to sign anything that day. He let us walk away, to think about other options. I continued my car search, and Bill did an excellent job of communicating with me to check on how the search for a car was going. After going to several dealerships, and meeting many salesmen, I really liked the way that Bill handled the car buying process. He gave you just enough information, without being too pushy! Lawrence Kia is lucky to have Bill as a salesman! More
These guys are absolutely awesome! I couldnt have asked for a better smoother experience. They got straight to the point and made the best deal possible. The best part was they were 100% honest about everything and i didnt feel pressured to buy the extras. I can't express enough how great and easy buying a car from them was! More
Located a several 2012 Kia Forte's on their website at a great price. They were a higher model and lower price than another dealership I had been working with. I called ahead and talked to Bill Munsell on great price. They were a higher model and lower price than another dealership I had been working with. I called ahead and talked to Bill Munsell on the phone explaining the price I was being offered for my trade on my car and the fact that his advertised price online was lower. He told me they would have to look at our car in person but it shouldn't be a problem to match the trade. I asked him to make sure he had one of the 4 advertised Forte's online on his lot as we were driving from Kansas City North to look at it. He confirmed they still had one. I informed him I would be out in the next 3 hrs and asked him to call me back if the car sold as I was specifically interested in that car. Never received a call. When my husband arrived Bill was busy with another customer so passed him off to another sales person. Magically the car I had called about was gone and so were the other 3 cars advertised online at the great price. They began showing us other Fortes but of course at a higher price. When it came time look at our trade they would not even come close to what the other dealership was giving us. We are extremely frustrated that we wasted a lot of gas and time with out family to drive out there to get the run around. I would not have wasted my time had Bill been honest over the phone or at least called us to let us know it sold. If you want a good deal drive to Anderson of St. Joseph Kia and ask for JJ. They will do your right!! More

Look out for mike while Dustin and chin were very easy to understand and talked to us with respect I'm thinking mike was having a bad day...he wasn't as easy to work with as the other two...if you go in I would ask for Dustin maybe it was just my sale style but I believe in being positive and straight forward and Dustin and chin were just that they seemed like very honest people! Buy from them and you will leave feeling like you got what you set out to get done! Ps I was very nervouse and this ended up being a great experience!!! More
This was our first new car buying experience and it was surprisingly easy and care free. We initially were only going to test drive the Kia Sportage but after researching and test driving other vehicles w surprisingly easy and care free. Bill was very easy going, friendly, and very accommodating. We never felt pressured to buy a car which was very nice. I would highly recommend buying a Kia and very very very highly recommend purchasing your new Kia from Lawrence Kia. We are so happy with our new purchase and the experience was everything we wanted it to be. More
