The handful I test drove at other dealerships were definitely worth purchasing, but it never felt like a good choice. Yesterday I went to Larry Roesch's, 45 minutes before closing time, just to browse after looking at a few cars online. Kyle Bromm greeted me and assisted me with information about the Jeep Renegade that was in my desired price bracket. I wanted a closer look and to test drive it so he went, in the rain, to their other parking lot that was down the block. Besides it being exactly what I was looking for, it was cleaner than any other car I test drove drove in the past. I'm sure the dealerships I previously went to would've cleaned the interior/exterior before I left the lot, but it's definitely doesn't give a good impression of the dealership as a whole. I wasn't totally prepared to purchase the Jeep but first off it was the color I had been waiting for to pop up for sale in my area, it had everything I realistically needed, everything was laid flat out on the table, I didn't feel pressured, annoyed, or "over sold" and I think the positive experience I had made it a successful first purchase. Kevin Ellis talked me through everything I needed to know financially, shared examples from previous customers to give me a better understanding, and answered every question I had (sometimes I didn't even have to ask him, he could tell by my face!) Pooooor Customer Service!!! I am not one to complain, and this is my first response to any auto purchases I have ever made, but I feel it necessary to voice my opinion regarding I am not one to complain, and this is my first response to any auto purchases I have ever made, but I feel it necessary to voice my opinion regarding this purchasing experience. Let me first lay the ground work: My wife and I live in Wisconsin, on March 3rd, we were en route to another dealer in Illinois to Purchase a Chevy Malibu for myself when my wife decided that she may be interested in looking at a Jeep Grand Cherokee in lieu of the Malibu. As such, I had her google the closest Jeep dealership to our location and this led us to Roesch Jeep in Elmhurst Illinois. When we arrived at Roesch, we wandered the lot looking at Grand Cherokees, we found 4 that we were interested in. out of the four vehicles we looked at, we narrowed it down to one and we struck up and agreeable deal with our salesman Joe Vallejo, who was very pleasant and treated us very well during the purchasing process. We settled on a 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited Edition. We were happy with the Price, so we started to orchestrate the deal. This is where things start to take a turn for the worst. my wife and I both have 850+ credit scores and we were offered 6% interest rate. I said there is no way that I will pay that rate , long story short, we got down to 4.2 % (which I felt was still way too high) but agreed upon the rate. So we consummated the deal. This is just as much my fault as is the dealers fault, but it shows you need to be very observant when purchasing used vehicles, when we got home, we noticed that there we 3 different tires on our vehicle. (2) Michelin black wall tires, (1) Cooper Raised white letter AT3 and (1) Nitto black wall tire. We were also told that there were (4) Floor matts in the spare tire compartment, and as it turns out there was only one rear seat floor mat. I contacted the dealer regarding these issues, and shocking, There was nothing that they would do, to rectify these issues. I was not necessarily looking for a hand out, just cut me a deal on (4) matching tires, and a set of floor mats. That would have made me happy That never happened. , we ended up spending just short of $1000.00 on a new set of Michelin tires and just short of $300.00 on good floor mats and a cargo liner. This is above the $31,000.00+ we spent ton this vehicle We also had, and continue to have, issues with registration/title of this vehicle. We were issued temporary Illinois plates that expire on 4/2/18. When we purchased the car, we were told that Roesch Jeep would apply for plates and registration and we should have our Wisconsin plates after around 10 days. Well, let’s say this. Last week, (the week of 3/26/18) we made at the very least 5 phone calls and left at least 5 messages regarding the whereabouts of out license plates. And received no answers from our Salesman Joe Vallejo, The Finance Manager, Virginia Davis-The License and Title Clerk or the Manager of the Store. We could get no one to call us back. It was only after I threatened to come down to the Dealership in person on Saturday Morning that I received a response. We found out that Roesch did NOT send the registration payment/application in until 3/19/18. After my wife called Wisconsin DMV on Friday 3/30/18 and found out that it takes 10 to 20 days to process the application. And, Per Wisconsin DMV, at this point they have no record of registration, My wife was basically lied to regarding the status of the Registration/Title. As it stands, she is now driving around on expired temporary license plates. Roesch would NOT issue another set of temporary plates. Not cool at all!!! Long story short: If you live in Wisconsin (or Illinois for that matter) , I would think long and hard before purchasing a vehicle from tRoesch Jeep. The Purchase was not a bad experience, it is the fact that there is no help from the Dealer, the Salesman, the Management, or the staff after the purchase has been made. When you go 4 days without a return call regarding issues concerning titles/registration there is a huge red flag. As a result of this experience, I would NEVER purchase another vehicle from the Roesch Dealerships, nor would I ever recommend them to a family or friends. I have purchased other vehicles from other Dealers in Illinois that were seamless experiences. This is by far, the WORST experience I have ever had concerning the purchase of any vehicle. The entire process makes my skin crawl!! POOOOOOOR Customer Service!!!!!!! Look for you vehicles elsewhere! There are better Dealerships in Illinois to buy from. If you do decide to purchase a vehicle from here, be VERY careful. My personal advice: “Skip this place entirely!” Rick Bienz Brookfield, Wisconsin More

The sales staff did an exhaustive search for me and found exactly what I was looking for except it did not have the top I wanted. They offered to swap the top with a vehicle they had had on the lot. I made the whole deal over the phone without ever meeting the sales person, and when I arrived to pick up the car everything was as promised and they got me in and out in about an hour. Everyone I came across at the dealership, from the sales staff to the finance department were true professionals. I would recommend this dealership to anyone in the market for a new or used vehicle More
