So I went to this dealership because they supposedly had a vehicle there, that was advertised for sale. A salesman came out by the name of Freddy and I told him and showed him a picture of a 2016 Jeep that a vehicle there, that was advertised for sale. A salesman came out by the name of Freddy and I told him and showed him a picture of a 2016 Jeep that I wanted to purchase. The first thing out of his mouth was, so why is it that you like this car? Right then and there all the red flags went off! I'm 61 years old, was a mechanic for 20 years, so I need not go any further :-) he went inside to see if he can find the keys and then he came back out and said, actually the car is on its way right now to be dropped off here. Then he said something like what is there anything else in a price range maybe that you would be interested in? I said no, I wanted this specific vehicle. In the meantime he went inside and came back out and tried to sell me a brand new vehicle that was over $10,000 more! As he continually and persistently tried to sell me a different vehicle for at least 5 minutes straight I kept saying no I want the one advertised. So he had told me listen it is on its way here and I said okay I will go get something to eat and he said I will call you when the vehicle shows up. So then I proceeded to actually find out where the car was at and it was at the Larry Miller dealership in Surprise by the 303. I contacted them they had the vehicle. So in the meantime Freddy never called me back to let me know that the car arrived, why? Cuz he was lying to me the whole time! He didn't care about my needs he didn't care about what I wanted all he wanted to do was make a sale and make me spend over $10,000 more than I wanted to. I just got off the phone with the sales manager and let him know what a jag off this guy actually was! My other half could not believe how dishonest Freddie was with all the lying and trying to get her to buy something she didn't want! I don't think anything is going to happen to Freddy because you know I'm just one guy that they can give two xxxxs about obviously. But what I can tell you is that I want to Larry Miller Dodge by the 303 in Surprise, and Edgar sold me the car, no pressure, was very very pleasant, was very conscious of my needs, was very courteous also. A complete 180 degree difference! So what's my point to this whole thing? I would never recommend anybody going to Larry h Miller Volkswagen in Avondale, and if for some reason you do, don't even negotiate anything with a gentleman in the sales department named Freddy! I'm sure I'm going to get feedback for how they apologize because I guess that's what people do when their employees xxxx up. But Freddy is not concerned about your wants, it's all about what he wants obviously. It's going to be very interesting to see the reply to this review. Again, I am not expecting any actions to be taken at that dealership due to the complete selfish, money making salesman. Too bad I can't post the video of the phone conversation that I just had. More

For sales: Yes, I would recommend BUT be careful. For service: Absolutely NOT! For circumstances out of my control, I have been a client of this dealer for about 5 years. I have to say that they For service: Absolutely NOT! For circumstances out of my control, I have been a client of this dealer for about 5 years. I have to say that they were the only dealer that gave me a break to purchase my first vehicle in AZ. After that, I have traded with them other 3 vehicles. When it comes to service, it’s the most painstakingly thing I’ve ever experienced. I have to be constantly asking about my vehicle status when I cannot wait for the vehicle. My most recent experience and biggest disappointment is that I brought my vehicle in for scheduled maintenance. Since it’s not a VW, and because they don’t have the specific tools to service my vehicle, it had to be serviced in my vehicle’s make dealership. For this process I had to submit a claim to an extended warranty I purchased for my vehicle. After 3 weeks of Larry Miller VW having my car in their parking lot and working my case with the insurance company and the dealership, finally, my was taken to be fixed. After a couple of days, the car returned to LMVW and a 4 wheel alignment was performed, upon request. After it was done, I was told to go pick up the vehicle. After conversing with the service rep and got my keys and paid for the alignment, I went outside to search for my car. After I found it and opened the door to sit down, I noticed that my windshield was cracked beyond repair. Immediately I returned to my service rep and told him to come outside to see what was happened. When I showed him, he clearly knew it happened either while the dealership personnel who took the vehicle to the other dealership to be worked on or returning from it. He took multiple pictures with his phone and said he was going to deal with it on Monday (this was a Friday), because his glass guys come in on Monday. I gave him a call that next Tuesday and, “funny story” happened. The service rep told me that both the General Manager and the Service Manager quit that same weekend and that there was a new one coming next week. I gave them another week. Have been expecting a call for when the dealership will take responsibility for replacing my cracked windshield and it has been a total of 3 weeks and 4 days up to today September 24th, 2024 and nothing yet. If you value bringing your newly purchased vehicle to the same dealership for service, this is not a place you don’t want to make business with. I am still waiting on the service rep to call me to schedule an appointment with their glass guys to have my windshield replaced. More
