I came first ... I got what I wanted!! My auto salesman was Zak Abu he was a great easy going guy and listened to everything I told him I was looking for in a vehicle. Showed me only vehicles I told him I was interested in and never tried to pressure me into something else but pointed out options and differences which might have effected my decision making. No matter how many times I asked to look at a different vehicle and test drive another he was there for me. We actually ended up buying two vehicles that night, one new 2014 Tacoma 4-door Pre-Runner, and a 2009 Dodge Ram which had all the bell's and whistles. There was now long sitting spells in silence with the traditional rubber room routine where the deal maker and money man play games with you ... it was all about "what can we do to earn your business ... and how can we make this happen for you." I have had dealing's with another Larry Miller in another city in the valley and I vowed to share my horrid experience with everyone I knew but, now having purchased from a Larry Miller Toyota in Peoria under a different Owner/Franchise ... my faith has been renewed and I am telling everyone about my more than amazing experience. I am familiar with Toyota leases as I have had 4 leases prior t I contacted Larry Miller online and asked them a question about leasing a new vehicle. I am familiar with Toyota leases as I have had 4 leases prior to this one, but I needed additional information. I asked the Larry Miller employee (Hazel) my question. She asked me when I would like to come down to the dealership. I said I would let her know as soon as she answered my question. Hazel asked me for my phone number, and when I was going to purchase etc. She asked again when I would like to come to the dealership. Again I said that would depend on the answer to the question I keep asking but cant get an answer. She asked if I had any other questions and I said no. Hazel then thanked me closed with "It's been a pleasure assisting you. Thank you for chatting with us. Please do not hesitate to contact us again if we can be of further assistance. Take care." I took that as if I want an answer, I must "come on down" Not willing to reward bad behavior, I contacted Avondale Toyota. They were kind enough to answer my questions online in a timely manner. So I bought the new car from them. What was funny was the car I purchased was the only one available and it was on Larry Millers lot! Avondale Toyota had to go pick up a car I would have purchased from Larry Miller but didn't because the behaved like the typical car dealer. Ironic, isn't it? My suggestion is to pass on Larry Miller Toyota unless you like being treated in a manner that is typical of many car dealers. More
