Advisors always give an estimate of time it will take to complete service and inquire if you plan to wait, need a ride, etc. This next comment isn't against the service advisors themselves but a comment about the service department as a whole. There seems to be a lot of turnover in the past 6-9 months. I've worked with 4 or 5 different advisors. Tim (who was GREAT), then Ricky (not so great), then Dave or whomever had the phone # Ricky had, then the last time I called the message was a guy named Steve. After leaving 2 messages for Steve and not having them returned, I called the main service dept # and was given and appointment with John. I didn't have any issues with John Tufarelli and he gave me his direct #. I prefer working with the same advisor each time I bring my vehicle in for service. More
Oil Change It's always easy to set up an appointment for an oil change. Usually I'm in and out in about an hour. Also got a new air cabin filter this time. Trustworthy Work, Reasonable Prices I brought my 2003 Hyundai Accent in to replace the drive belts, timing belt, water pump, and valve cover gasket. The price to do all of this actually I brought my 2003 Hyundai Accent in to replace the drive belts, timing belt, water pump, and valve cover gasket. The price to do all of this actually was about $20-30 lower than an estimate I got from a shop owned by AAA. Plus, I know that I can trust the team at Larry Miller Hyundai, both from many past visits for service and for this one. My service advisor Dirk kept me informed when the mechanic discovered that some of the parts for the valve cover gasket job were damaged. Unfortunately, they did not have spares of these parts, so I had to leave my car there over the weekend. (I dropped off my car on Saturday morning; it was ready by Monday at 1:00 PM.) But they discounted the repair by about $30, so I was satisfied. The work was done right, and I was given detailed descriptions of what was done. I'm confident that I got a good deal for high-quality work. More
