Paul Pfeifer Bent Over Backwards to Help Me Purchase a Car I wasn't planning to buy a car this month, although my main mode of transportation was becoming dangerous to drive. While my 1995 Explorer was getting a recall part replaced in it, I saw Paul Pfeifer in the showroom area. When I asked if there were any cars on the lot in my price range, instead of blowing me off like some car sales people had done in the past at other places, Paul Pfeifer was polite, courteous and searched his lot for possible cars meeting my criteria. He was able to let me test drive two very nice used vehicles. He never pressured me once, but instead demonstrated great patience and courtesy to me when his co-worker didn't get the needed paperwork for my purchase to him for hours and hours. Since I waited there so long to finalize my purchase of the second car I test drove, a 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo, Paul Pfeifer was able to make an exception and lower the purchase price for me a bit. This made it more affordable for me to be able to make this necessary purchase. Paul Pfeifer spent more than two hours personally searching for good financing for my purchase when it wasn't really his responsibility to do so. Since I lived several hours away, Paul made sure that he had all of my information that he needed to find the right financing for me. He stayed in contact with me throughout the whole process. He worked very hard to get my payments where I wanted them. Paul and Roger had all the paperwork completed when I arrived, so the buying of the car was quick and easy. I was in and out with my new car within a hour. I highly recommend Paul and Lakewood Fordland for buying your next vehicle. More

Very poor service repair department I've been here before and they didn't fix the issue with my transmission. Instead they spent most of their time making me feel like I was imaging the I've been here before and they didn't fix the issue with my transmission. Instead they spent most of their time making me feel like I was imaging the issue because there was no code in the vehicle computer. I took it to a transmission shop where the issue was fixed. I said I'd never come back! However it is close & I was short on time so I made an appointment & came back. Why, because my key fell apart and the faub no longer worked. I explained my issue & was told in his 13 years with Ford he'd never heard of what I was describing, until it happened to him. No apologies, just"that's wierd". He sent me to parts to buy a faub saying it would be less expensive. However, they no longer make the faub for my car (it's a 2008) couldn't the service person have checked on that BEFORE I wasted 15 minutes in line for the part? Then I was told it'd take an hour or more to have a new key made. I said "shouldn't I get right in because I made an appointment?" His response "Oh, I never checked on that". I will NEVER come back! I will drive across town to Phil Long Ford where I've been treated wonderfully. More

Lakewood Ford's service dept is not so great Been there twice now, once just try to find out some info on my car, and then again to get the key code for the door. The service advisor told me it would take about 20 minutes. After I'd been there a half hour, at least, started my iPhone timer. Finally went to the cashier to ask where my car was at 16:27. They couldn't be bothered to remove the plastic cover from the seat or the paper dealio from the floor, so it was up to me to wander around the lot looking for a trash can. Oh, and if you are used to amenities in the waiting area like you might find at a Toyota or Subaru dealer, tough luck. They can't even afford cable, opting instead for Dish, so we I got to watch crappy world cup soccer coverage for the nearly 50 minutes I was there waiting for them to find out my key code that they never bothered to explain to me how to work. More

Best service EVER! I purchased my 1st car at Lakewood Fordland and Paul Pfeifer helped me. By the time I got there, my paperwork was done and all I had to do was test drive the car. I was in and out of within 1 1/2 hours! It was awesome! I had heard from some friends of mine who had also purchased a vehicle that it takes forever...not for me! Paul was professional, courteous and I still had so much time left in my day I was able to still continue to do my errands! I recommend the dealership but most of all HIM!!!! Thanks Paul!!!!! More

After scouring craigslist ads and other dealers for 2 weeks, we were having trouble finding an early 2000's F250 that was in good condition with under 150k miles. We met with Paul at Lakewood Fordland and it turned out that he had one that had just came in and it was PERFECT! I will definitely return to do business here again in the future. If I can say one thing, this dealership is HONEST and that is hard to find. More
