I can't say enough about how great it was to work with Sam. All too often in our daily lives we overlook very positive experiences. This was our first visit since we purchased our Avenger. It was for the first oil change. I also had some problems with a vibration and the brakes grabbing. Nat listened to me and when the car was done (less than an hour with no appointment)he explained that I needed to have the roaters sanded. He appologized that he didn't have a tech on Saturday to do the work but gave me his card and asked that I make an appointment at my convenience. He explained the length of time it would take and that he could get the shuttle to take me to work or home. We were very satisfied with the customer service and especially since the place was filled with service customers I still felt like I was top priority. We are going to buy the service plan for our daughter so that she can receive her oil changes at this service dept. More
My experience with Dwight Curry was very good. He was attentive and aside from wanting to sell a auto, was a very good communicator. The game of selling a car is very tiring and one that I never look forward to, but Dwight was willing to hang in there with me during the long process and did a very good job. My experience with others that worked the floor was excellent, everyone friendly and helpful. At the end of the day, when all should be settled and signed, I found Rod to be a little shady...he first pitched me purchasing the additional year oil and tire rotation package along with the dent, etc package. When I did not want to buy, he then offered it to me for free...?? Of course I took it but it did not feel good being asked to buy something then him turning around because I said no and offering it to me as a "gift", which leads me to believe that my monthly payment would have been less without the "gift" if I had not spoken too soon during our conversation concerning the monthly payment...Also, my brother-in-law was acting as a co-signer for me but Rod had ME sign as co-signer and my brother-in-law was sent papers to sign as the buyer...Although my brother-in-law signed for me,it did not go over well and has caused family tension...No one likes the feeling of being taken advantage of...not good. It is things like this that make dealership, car salesmen and all other employees look bad. Will I refer? I probably will but not before I share my experience with the referral so that they can go either with their own financing already taken care of and/or knowing what to expect up-front from the finance manager, if they should decide to buy. Purchasing a car is not a joyful thing...by the time one finds the car, negotiates the deal and gets to finance, one has spent 8-10 hours of unnecessary bartering and dealing. It sucks the life out of a person and kills their joy of purchsing an expensive item for themselves... Dwight Curry did his best to sell a car and to make the experience as joyful as possible, then Rod killed it...If I had not really needed a car, I would have gone home without one because I loath being made feel that someone thinks I am a "stupid woman" who can be manipulated and taken advantage of... Lastly, the first survey request came to me and called me "Ms. Wise". My name is not Ms. Wise, that is my sister. My scores above are based upon the over all experience rather than one person's actions. More
