We bought a used car and didn't realize it had a small crack in the windshield until the next day. The sales manager responded quickly and sent someone to my house to replace the windshield within a few days, and they covered the cost because it was a safety hazard. They only had one electronic key fob from the previous owners and the dealership gave us the employee discount to get a spare one created. Wasn't my favorite thing to spend $300 unexpectedly after signing the paperwork for a $45k car, but they gave me a loaner car for the day while they programmed the spare key fob. Making this type of thing known to us before signing all the paperwork would've given this rating a full 5-stars. If I would've known about the one key I would've negotiated down the price of the car to cover the spare key. Instead, we didn't find out until we were about to drive our car off the lot, and I had to return the next day to get a spare key programmed. Not a deal-breaker by any means though. Overall, I could tell the dealership means well and was fair and honest with me as a customer throughout the process. I think buying a car is almost always going to be stressful because it's a lot of money, but this team made it smooth and easy on us. Even the Finance team was nice, honest, and informative about our financing options. Our family is super happy with the car we purchased, and we really appreciated Gage's engagement in the process! Before taking my Cruze in I already knew that the eco active shutters needed to be replaced. I was hesitant to take it in but that part can only be ordered from the dealership so I did. Dropped it off on active shutters needed to be replaced. I was hesitant to take it in but that part can only be ordered from the dealership so I did. Dropped it off on a Friday and told them what was wrong but to let me know if they saw anything anything else. Didn’t hear anything back until the following Monday and yep, you guessed it, the shutters needed to be replaced. Johnny, the manager I had been working with the whole time, told me they couldn’t see anything else wrong with it. So I went ahead and replaced it and $900 later they called me and told me it was ready. I get back to the dealership and they bring the car around, hand me the keys, and tell me I’m good to go and the engine light is taken care of. Of course as soon as I get in the car I see that the engine light is still on, so I tell the manager and he takes it back again. After about 20 minutes he calls me back and the exhaust pipe is completely disconnected and it wasn’t like that when I brought it in. Luckily they put some new bolts in clear the codes. I drive it home and park it for the night only to get back in my car the next morning and the engine light is back on. I take it back to the dealership and they hold onto it for another 2 days and then try telling me it needs two new sensors in the exhaust and it’s going to cost me another $1000. At this point I’m completely fed up because I know those sensors were damaged when they knocked that pipe off, the temporary registration is almost up and I’ve still been working full time and having to have family members drive me to and from work. I explain all this to them and they basically tell me it’s not their problem and there is nothing they can do. Long story short, I will never return to this dealership and would recommend that anyone else steer clear from this place if your thinking of having service done on your car. Most of the parts can be found for much cheaper online and you won’t get charged $125 an hour at other smaller shops. More
