I recently bought a Chevy Volt. The sales personnel were not high pressure. They provided the information I needed over a period of a couple of weeks. They showed interest without bugging me. They gave a very good deal on the Volt with excellent financing. I am 56 years old and have never purchased a Chevy product before. I have enjoyed my Toyota Camrys for years. However, GM built the right car when they built the Volt. They got it right! The all electric range of 40 miles will allow me to cut my gas use in approximately half. The gas range extender eliminates any possible range anxiety since very few charging stations exist at this point. The Volt allows us the ability to switch to electric powered transportation now by charging at home until the day (which will come) that charging stations are readily available in public places. The cost of electricity powered miles is approximately 1/3 of gasoline powered miles when gas costs $3.60 per gallon and you have a 30mpg gas powered car for comparison. This discrepancy is likely to increase over the years and make it even more important that we switch to electric. We are importing nearly 10 million barrels of oil/day at $100 per barrel that is $1 billion per day every day of the year. Each $1 billion represents about 20,000 jobs that could be created in this country with minimal loss to the oil industry jobs because we would still need all of the domestic oil jobs we can create. The cost of energy in the U.S. has risen from about 5% to about 9% of GDP in the last several years. It is killing our economy. We need more people to buy electric vehicles like the Volt and turn our economy around! When you compare the cost of a Volt to a new gas powered vehicle and taking the gas savings into account over an 8 year period you are looking at a $25K car (after all rebates). More

I was in the market for a Chevrolet Silverado, I contacted three dealers in the area by phone and decided to visit Mark's Casa Chevrolet. I had explained to them what I was looking for and set up an appointment. Upon arriving at the dealership I was met by the general manager and he introduced me to Chris. I felt very welcome and Chris told me from what I had described over the phone he had a Silverado for me to test drive. They went out of their way to make me feel comfortable from the very start, during the test drive I asked Chris some questions about the truck especially the towing capacity. The truck I was driving was not capable of pulling the weight I needed to pull. I explained what I needed and he went in to talk with the general manager. They found me a truck that would satisfy my needs except it was in Colorado Springs. The next day Chris drove to Colorado Springs and brought the truck back to Albuquerque. It was the truck I was looking for except it lacked a few features I desired. We agreed on the price including the optional features. The price we agreed upon seemed fair and reasonable. They had to install the optional features, two of which they did at dealers cost. The work they performed looked as though it was done at the factory. The service people were friendly and professional. I have to admit the experience dealing with Mark's Casa Chevrolet was pleasurable, I felt as though they went out of their way to make sure I was satisfied. They also gave me a fair market value for the vehicle I traded in toward the purchase of the Silverado. I recommended to a friend that was looking for a vehicle he should visit Mark's Casa Chevrolet. That evening he came home with a new Cruz and commented that he did not except such a pleasant experience purchasing a vehicle based on the stories he heard from friends about thir experiences purchasing a car.
