The day I got my car by there were a few minor malfunctions. The lifegate could issue could not be duplicated. Oil life wasn't reset. All fluids were not checked and topped off, as the day after my windshield wiper fluid light came on. Minor things so nothing to complain about. Until tonight while I was in my way home from a 10 hour day and my car started making a horrible noise which made me pull over, once the issue was voiced to a mechanic and he attempted to drive it. It was realized that all lug nuts on the driver side tire but one was loose and could be threaded by using you fingers only. The thought of what could have potentially happened had the tire come off instead of just making a horrible noise which prompted me to pull over. This could have resulted in a crash. Lets thank God it didn't. However, I will NEVER be back to Landers, as the service each and every time gets worse and worse. This is completely irresponsible and by far the worst place I have been too. I will be sure to spread the word of what has happened and stronly recommend that nobody use Landers for anything. More

My salesman Shaft was very patient with me in making sure I made the best possible investment on myself. The service team was very perfessional and I would always recommend this dealership to anyone looking to purchase any vehicle for the first time. Also I did not his name under the service list but Mr. Scott Dexter was very professional with handling all my service needs for my 2016 Dodge Challenger More

Thank you Jim for ALL of your hard work, professionalism, dedication and HONESTY. I trust you with each and every one of our vehicles. I would also like to thank Wrenne Gillespie for all of her hard work and dedication to making me happy when I have had recall issues on my car-Wrenne is also a very trustworthy, professional, hard working honest employee @ Landers. It is refreshing to be able to take a vehicle in to be serviced (regular maintenance or recall) and be able to work with people like Jim & Wrenne. More
Service so bad I sold my car to avoid returning My experience at Landers McLarty Chrysler Dodge Jeep was so bad that I sold my car as soon as I got it back so I'd never have to repeat this experienc My experience at Landers McLarty Chrysler Dodge Jeep was so bad that I sold my car as soon as I got it back so I'd never have to repeat this experience. It was not a case of "one bad employee" or some kind of fluke. It was these three standard policies of both Chrysler and Landers. 1. *There is only one transmission technician.* The normal wait time for transmission work is 6-14 days, my experience being 15. There are no plans to hire more technicians and it is suggested that you call ahead and make an appointment. Unfortunately if your transmission breaks down at 45,000 miles and is not drivable you must wait those 6-14 (15) days without a car because... 2. *Even under manufacturer's warranty a rental car will not be issued until the diagnosis is complete.* So that's 6-14 (15) days before the technician can look at it and at least 1 day (for me it was 3-4 days) for the problem to be diagnosed. Once that happens a rental car will be covered by the manufacturer's warranty but... 3. *The number of days a rental car is covered is determined by the number of days the repair is estimated to take, not how long it actually takes.* The estimated time my repairs would take was 7 days. After that 7 days I asked for two more and they did allow me to keep the rental car for 9 days. After 9 days I had to return the car and wait and ADDITIONAL 8 DAYS for my car to be fixed. This is all normal. This is standard. I called corporate. This is how the service plan is laid out in whatever Jeep handbook is used to regulate service. My car was/is still under manufacturer's warranty and this was considered acceptable to Jeep. 33 days without my car. 24 days with no car. The good news is that Uber is quite nice in Huntsville! More

Bad Customer Service My family has purchased cars at this dealer before and also has had our vehicles serviced at this location, but I must say this has been my worst expe My family has purchased cars at this dealer before and also has had our vehicles serviced at this location, but I must say this has been my worst experience ever dealing with Landers McLarty CJD. I dropped my car off early Tuesday 8/9/16 morning to get it serviced. The assistant service manager then asked me if I would be leaving my vehicle and if I needed a ride through the shuttle service. I stated yes. I then set for 2 hours waiting no one ever showed up. I ended up having to call someone to pick me up. I waited all day Tuesday no one calls to follow up to tell me what’s wrong with my vehicle. I then attempt to call Wednesday to get an update on my vehicle. They told me my service person was busy and she would call me back with a status. Wednesday I was told that I needed a new starter, and that the part would be in Friday. So attempted to call Friday during the day twice. No answer. I finally called back a third time Friday afternoon and was told the part is in, and they will not be able to get to my car until Monday. So I stated that I was promised to have my car Friday and it’s still not available. I then go on to say that my car has been here since Tuesday morning and I have been without a vehicle. So the Assistant Service Manager makes a smart comment saying “Well if you want you can just come pick it up and bring it back Monday!” I then say how I can I pick up my car when it doesn’t even start, and she goes to say “Well I know it doesn’t start”. She was passive aggressive and very unprofessional it also displayed horrible customer service. I then ask to speak to the service center manager. He stated and promised that my vehicle would be ready Monday morning. I did not hear from them at all on Monday so I end up having to call Monday afternoon. They said it’s not ready and the service assistant manager would call me back. She never did. It is now Tuesday 8/16/16 and it has been a whole week and I just received a call to finally pick up my car. After picking up my car I get half way back to work and realize they did not replace the sticker from my oil change; therefore I had to turn all the way around to get a new sticker so I will know the next time I need to service my vehicle. Overall it was a terrible experience. I had to constantly call to see what was going on with my vehicle rather the dealer contact me. The whole week was a run around and a hassle to get my car serviced. You would think going to a dealership and make of your vehicle would get you top notch customer service/ customer satisfaction especially with all the commercials they put out, but not at Landers McLarty CJD. I will never use their services again. #Unsatisfactory More
Service Department I got my Jeep Liberty serviced here in July of 2015 with a complaint that my air conditioning was not holding freon and would not blow cold air. When I got my Jeep Liberty serviced here in July of 2015 with a complaint that my air conditioning was not holding freon and would not blow cold air. When I left the dealership, my a/c blew cold air for a couple weeks. Then it was time for the heat to be used as the weather was getting colder. This year, I call with the same complaint and the lady tells me the service is under a 24 month, unlimited mile warranty. So she schedules me an appointment for exactly 1 week later. The service department added dye, found a leak in the a/c line running from the condensor to the compressor. So fix it under the warranty since you didnt fix it last year!? NOPE. So I go to Josh(service manager) and he shows me my "detailed list" of services from last year. On my service sheet, it says that they recharged the system for $49.95. Then proceeds to tell me that they put dye in my lines LAST YEAR because there was a leak LAST YEAR. But, he states that it is not shown on the service statement that they did that service last year because they didnt charge me for it. After telling me that there was a leak last year, i question WHY wasn't it fixed last year and why try charging me to fix it this year. ALSO, why was the service not documented? How is he supposed to know hat they put dye in it last year if it was not documented!!? So, he tells me there was a leak last year but it didnt get fixed and now they want to charge me AGAIN to fix it this year BECAUSE it was NEVER fixed last year. Also, this is a big company, and I find it very unprofessional that Josh tells me a service that was done last year was not documented. I expect ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING they do to my vehicle be documented whether they charge the customer or not. Clearly the service manager needs to be trained and the service employees need to also be properly trained to fix problems rather than just doing a temporary fix. And why tell me that I have a warranty on the service that I can't even use because THEY NEVER FIXED THE PROBLEM LAST YEAR. I will NEVER recommend someone to get service done at this location. Poor service and very poor service management. More

My car was in the shop for 47 days and the person I was dealing with was not giving me anything but delay after delay, After speaking with Matt I felt that someone would finally take care of my situation, but in the back of my mind I expected the same. Matt proved to me that there are still people in this world that care about the service they provide. He got to the issue, resolved it and got me my car, he actually seemed to care and kept his promise. That is all anyone wants. Thank you Matt, keep doing the good work you do. More
