I had test drove the Ford Fusion Titanium Hybrid that day, which was priced a little more than the Volt, and had considered the Ford C-Max, but the Volt had very good consumer reports ratings so I went t day, which was priced a little more than the Volt, and had considered the Ford C-Max, but the Volt had very good consumer reports ratings so I went to the Chevy dealership I was most familiar with, having driven by it all the time on the way to work. I drove into the customer parking lot walked towards one of the corvette stingrays that was parked outside the front, and Zeke walked out the front door and greeted me with a smile. He asked me if I was interested in that car and I said I was interested in a Chevy Volt. So we walked toward the east side of the lot and found what I recall as being the only Volt in the lot, but in a color I happened to like. I drove the car on a short test drive around the dealer ship (exiting the dealership west on University Drive). I wanted the car. So we sat down and started the application process. Admittedly there were issues initially processing my application because of what appeared to be network issues (or entering my social security number incorrectly), but I was approved for financing. Ben completed the finance application and bill of sale expeditiously, then I spoke with Genie about On-Star and the locking nuts for my wheels. Overall it was a good experience. I do wish I had more time to have the controls explained to me, information about Level 3 DC Fast Chargers explained (didn't know about these at the time), and the tires inflated to 35 psi (I was getting warning messages with them at 31 psi), but I was getting tired myself, so I drove the car home, after receiving cookies from Genie and completing the brief car orientation experience in-car. I was extremely happy with the price (the $5000 trade-in), everyone was friendly, and there was nothing wrong with the new car I drove out of the parking lot. More

At times when there were disagreements on my part over payment and rates the team was willing to work with me and understand my particular situation. These guys really made the whole process feel like I was a friend visiting friends. I give an A Plus to the team of individuals I worked with today and as a customer I appreciate being cared for, respected, and thanked for choosing to do business with someone. This was in addition to my wonderful salesperson, Marcus. Marcus knew what I wanted, selected the perfect vehicle, and explained all of the options. I came in to the service department this morning with my Yukon making a nasty noise. I explained that I was 8 hrs from home and was wondering if someone could give me a hand by letting me know if my issue w Yukon making a nasty noise. I explained that I was 8 hrs from home and was wondering if someone could give me a hand by letting me know if my issue would leave me dead on the side of the road with my wife and two small children. The tech explained that there is a $95 fee to look at the vehicle, but that's only if they didn't fix it...I tried to make the point that if its something huge that I can't afford I'd be out $95 no matter what. I told him I knew they didn't work for free, but after being in a service mgr for years myself I just didn't understand why they couldn't help someone out in need. I wasn't asking for free, just to know before I blew $100 while 8hrs from home. By the way, I was the only car in the service department. My local dealership would never do this...so I went to the local Goodyear store and they happily diagnosed my vehicle and got the cash for my simple repair. Thanks to Jay at advanced auto parts for the referral to Joanie Upton at Goodyear! More
