He sold us on the merits of the vehicle and did not play the 'cat & mouse' game you run into so many times when buying a new car. Jordan Miles was also very helpful during one visit in John's absence and also left us with a good impression. After the sale he was there to help me move Items from my old vehicle to the new/used 2012 Tahoe, and that was a first for me to get that level of help. Before I left John explained every item from the electronics to auto start and etc. My thanks to all at David Stanley Chevrolet of Norman. The sales department was super in working a payment that I could afford as a low income senior. I received a good price for my SUV on the trade in price. The WORST dealership I have ever been to. They're a joke! I spoke to two different people for about a month before we went there to purchase our car. We had one picked out and financing prearr They're a joke! I spoke to two different people for about a month before we went there to purchase our car. We had one picked out and financing prearranged. We got there and the car was nowhere to be found. They had also told us they'd give $15,000 on our trade. Turns out the person who gave us that number was in charge of appointments and had no say in the actual amount. They had lied to get us to drive the 5 hours down there. We walked in and were automatically set up with someone who was not the salesman I had spoken to and made an appointment with, so we had to start from square one. We sat there for 2.5 hours before we even sat or looked in a vehicle, which was a new one when we were looking at used. They took our keys "to look at our trade". We asked for them back several times and never got them. We eventually walked out to look at the vehicles ourselves and found the one we wanted. We finally got to the financing portion and found out about our trade in. Since we weren't getting the amount originally agreed upon it screwed up our financing. When we got financing that we were comfortable with and went to sign paperwork, we found out that they had extended our lease agreement without telling us in an attempt to sell the car without us seeing the extension, which then added on another hour of negotiation. We were there for 6 hours. Now, two months later, we had still not received our spare key that was supposed to be ordered. I have called 3 times, the final time to speak with a manager. The manager told me that since it was not in our paperwork he couldn't honor the request for the key and fob. I explained that we were not told there wasn't a spare until after paperwork was signed and we were leaving. He then told me "we actually lost money on your deal, so I don't know why you're so upset over a key", among other things. We have since received the key but will now have to pay for it to be programmed and cut (approximately $65) because the dealership would not reimburse us for that "on top of the cost of the fob" ($31) even though it was all promised to begin with. I would never, ever recommend this dealership to anyone. More
