We have had that 1996 Corvette for about 12 years now. We bought it to drive Roue 66 with. Found it in Tulsa and it just happened to be factory purple. We did the Route. Then we drove it to Sacramento a few years later. We have enjoyed it a lot. I had it serviced at the Miami Chevrolet Dealership until they, for some reason, backed out of the garage with the hood up, breaking a corner off the hood. I then took it to Grove Chevrolet. The first time everything was fine. The last time, their Disel/Corvette mechanic couldn't scan for codes for a week after the appointment. I have enjoyed the friendly treatment by Tom Schaub and that far outweighs the minor problem with the ground cable. I'm bringing it back next week for wheel alignment and balancing! I believe I've found the place at last.
